First Machine Head album I bought and actually one of the first 10 or so Metal albums I owned. A friend turned me on to the song "Ten Ton Hammer" which I loved (still do) and next time I went to Tower Records I picked this one up. Soon after picked up Burn My Eyes. Unfortunately the first new record they put out after I'd become a fan was The Burning Red, which sullied me on them a bit and I basically didn't check anything out beyond this one and BME for many years. Anyway, this one kicks ass -- very heavy, lots of good riffs, the Nu Metal influence is very minimal.

I always liked how this was basically a dirtier, sludgier sequel to "Burn My Eyes". Good shit.

Killer album and probably their best. Absolutely love the guitar tone. Unfortunately, Machine Head has gone downhill after this epic release.

Just bought this album after already owning and loving Burn My Eyes and The Blackening. Listened to it for the first time tonight and was blown the fuck away. This may be my favorite Machine Head album even with Burn My Eyes and The Blackening both being amazing as well. This is one of the best Metal albums I have heard in a long time!

It's possible that this doesn't have many plays because people are tagging the dots at the end wrong (more, less or none). Kind of like "...And Justice For All"
