"Free Live" version is extraordinary. So much more raw and powerful than the studio cut.

Fantastic track . I'm dedicating this to my old schoolmate Paul (RIP old mate) who stomped around school in his Andy Fraser boots (desert boots) imitating his hero Paul Rodgers. Happy days.

1969 at Owens Park, Manchester UNi. I nearly lost an eye. They lobbed out very 'free' singles. Mate turned & said ,"someone could get a record in the eye!" I went into 6th form in Ulverston, Lake District, on the Monday with a black eye. My boyfriend, in Manchester was blamed. It was Paul!!

@ledzeprox99 "How Many More Times" contains partial covers of a number of songs, including this song. This song was written by Albert King for his classic "Born Under a Bad Sign" album, which was released in 1967.

This is the first time I've heard this particular song by Free, but I am a HUGE fan of Zeppelin. The lyrics HIGHLY match some of the lyrics of 'How Many More Times' on Zeppelins debut album released in 1969. 'They call me the hunter, that's my name' 'I got you in the sights of my gun' Come directly from 'How many More Times' I'm confused... I'm sure Zeppelin wrote it first, but I think that it also somewhat came from Howlin' Wolf.
