I've moved out of home and out of Canberra. I'm in Melbourne now, living with my boyfriend. It's pretty great! We're gonna stay here for another year, then head to Sydney (closer to family and friends).

I met her before her show here in Canberra. It was really easy! Just got to the venue a bit early and joined the other obsessives waiting at the side door. She came out a couple of hours later and talked to everyone individually. She's so lovely... and HOT! She signed my pretty Scarlet's Walk poster, so I'm gonna get it framed. So happy! :D

What's your take on the Cold War Kids? I bought their album on the strength of Hang Me Up To Dry and I have to say I'm kinda disappointed. There are a few songs that tickle my fancy, but the rest I find kinda boring and not that great... =\

Overall, I'm very impressed. I think it's a lot better than the Beekeeper. In some respects I think it's kinda reminiscent to the Scarlet's Walk era... many awesome songs, a few not so great ones too. :P I think she probably could have cut four or five and then it would have been really tight.
