Hi, love your Number two, but aren`t you a little bit too young for SST? Greetings from Germany!

I wholeheartedly concur with your assessment that Steve Anderson was one of rock's greatest poets and lyricists. It was painfully obvious to me even up on the first time that I heard Orange Crush that there was something seriously special about him and the way he negotiated his way through the gorgeous sheets of guitar wash. It was almost like he was surfing through the music or doing a delicate word ballet. But bands are such delicate environments and it seems like something began to seriously hold them back after Riposte, and sadly I have a feeling it might be the usual story (lost of focus, drugs, exhaustion from touring, inter-band squabbling) , but who knows...I wonder what Anderson is doing now.

Good luck with that seven inch. I guess the good thing is most people don't realize how great they were so their records are still affordable. But the crazy thing is even back then it was hard to get anything by Slovenly, I don't know if it was because of small record runs or bad distribution, or the were simply lost in the shuffle of the huge SST bands or what it was...but I tried forever to find their records with no luck. Maybe they just never got good distribution on the East coast...

October Rust is my favorite. World Coming Down is the heaviest. Bloody Kisses is good too. Their whole discography is great though.

Good bruh. You heard the new Pissed Jeans? It's definitely worth a listen. I only bring it up cause you got some serious Jesus Lizard going on.
