I know this follow-up is WAY overdue, but I did make it to see Kaki way back when. It was sublime. None of the videos I'd watched a million times over had prepared me for how amazing it was in real life. I was front row center, no farther from her than I could reach. I am SO glad I got to see her, and this show in particular. Lots of people can put on good rock shows, this was something else completely. My autographed LP of "The Neck ..." is beaming down on me as I type this. I'm going to be very interested to see what she does next.

I saw your comment in Namie's shoutbox. Arashi doesn't release their songs digitally. A few Johnny's acts do, but it's rare, and never during the first week of release.

Hard to say something about Photogenic because even though the preview is great, it's still short enough for the song to turn out to be anything really >.> . I keep my hopes up, tho. Strange thing that there won't be a PV for ti :/ . And about Stranger - I wasn't expecting this kind of song after reading about the album concept let alone hearing Photogenic snippet but I like it a lot! Sounds kinda like mix of Neonlight Lipstick and Heaven but without Heaven's tackiness.

Maybe she wants to emphasize her parting ways with VF as much as possible. Personally I'm glad no previous track has been included . It was obvious that TSUKI won't make the cut after Ballada and as much as I love Neonlight Lipstick and Ballerina, at this point they are just too old and would only feel like fillers. They should go more creative with her outfits for ballads - it would become more endurable then. But I guess that won't happen; looks like Namie herself wants to keep it all simple. I'm not disappointed in any of those songs eaither, it's just that they aren't good enough to make album cut and... they won't since all the rumors about "_genic" turned out to be the truth, hahaha. I'm not sure how "all new songs" move is going to affect the sales (no singles = not much pre-release hype built) but as far as I'm concerned, it's simply amazing. It's like making up for Uncontrolled etc. To not even mention her going R'n'B again. I'm all in for this album!

Bottomline - I do love Still Lovin' You and I don't get all those complaints about the mastering, really - but maybe it's just me.

What I didn't like about LS 2014 was the ballad segment. It's great they put all of them on DVD but watching them one after another just proved it to me how boring a ballad-only tour would be if she decided to make one. And the second thing is that she makes this constant mistake of putting the most demanding songs at the very end of the setlist :/ . Other than that I was really satisfied - good staging and a lot of things going on out there. I mean - chairs and stuff, we've all seen this before but it was still a lot better than feel tour when there was nothing but her dancing and singing to it. Looks like no new song for Oleo D'or CM but the album in June seems probable so no biggie here. And about BRIGHTER DAY - it's just the type I don't care at all about. Not bad but just like "ya, whatever - next please" haha. SWEET KISSES reminds me of COPY THAT and as much as I love P<F, that song isn't really my thing either.

I'm *totally* envious that you're going to see "The Neck Is A Bridge ...". So far, she hasn't announced any dates within two day's travel for me. Given the complexity of the show, I'm afraid the dates will be few and far between. Oh well, here's hoping for a nice DVD release. ENJOY THE SHOW!
