Hey there - EES have been touring the world for a decade to celebrate they are making some amazing releases available through Pledge including a Soundtrack album and their forst ever live album: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/224

Yes it was the EvUk forum. Hell, I even have you on myspace! :O

I've seen you through forums! :P The song Afraid Of The Dark is PURE Genius. The lyrics are simply awesome. :]

Hello sir...yeah - I LOVE Lark, Inge has an AMAZING voice. Saw the Parlotones and OK GO live on Sat...wow. Just wow. I'll post photos on facebook...x

wait, did i know you had a solo project or is this a new thing? (good bio btw)

you must be gutted - really surprised it sold out as it was only announced in the last week.

what did you think of the parlotones live ?how long did they play for last night ?

thought you'd be pleased!!!! just saw it on their myspace page

Hi Rowan - just thought you'd like to know The Parlotones have added a new date to their UK jan tour. Its at the Dog & Parrot in Newcastle on the 19th Jan.

Do you know what a braai is? It's a barbeque and South African institution. They're what we DO. lol. Lark's album takes some getting used to but is MINDBLOWING once you kick it. Trust me. *winks* x

Chuffed you're digging the discs, dude. Japan and I are pretty damn cool, eh? Let me know about your favourite songs from all the albums... x

a parlotones fan in the uk - you are rare! they are touring the uk in jan. just got their new album 'a world next door to yours' - it is excellent

oh cool!! i must check it out :D sry to hear abt the unemployment thing. at least u still have your music :)

hey rowan!! i heard your teardrop version and i like it! i tried playing it on my guitar :P hehe hope u doing well!

hey thats great!! :) im not a fan though lol. but im sure u will like them :)

I abhor rap and hiphop. The whole lifestyle it represents is negative, the music is not that good, technically, and the lyrics are generally offensive and use shock value to sell records. I say BOO, too. lol. Heard Fujiya and Miyagi? x

You know, I don't even know if it IS 25%. That seems like an overestimation to me. The main problem with the South African audience is their love of R&B and hiphop, while most homegrown stuff ranges between pop and metal, the opposite side of the spectrum. Also, the 5fm station used to cater to the local rock scene, but after they fired DJ Barney Simon, they headed in the commercial direction. x

the german one. that's the one with the free downloads- hope you'll like it. cheers!

Japan and I rock the cashbar as far as indie-ska-punk goes. I'm lucky enough to know them, and they work super hard. Try The Hellphones too - all male, but super good. Glad I could help you out, SA music is kickass. x

Hey sir! I ould suggest searching for Canned Applause Records, an indie music store. The owner, Riaan Botha, is a friend of mine, and both he and the store can be found on both facebook and myspace, and there's a site, I'm pretty sure. Google it. If you need more help, let me know. x PS: The Parlotones are fantastic, but all male, try checking out Japan and I. x

hey! :) there are a few groups u might like...i think maybe 'the parlotones'.'love jones' and 'running with scissors' are a female fronted bands. but first listen to them on myspace to see if u like them. anyways hope u keeping well :)

Hey.. Just saw your shout.. Thanks for the reco.. It's easy to see why they aren't mainstream.. What with a name like 'Bottom'! Lol.. Checked them out.. And they are fantastic! I love their voices.. It sounds deep, sweet & melancholy all at the same time.. I dig!!

Stumbled here through some ancient predestined prophecy... have to say I rather like some of your tags!

Sorry, I haven't had the time to liten to it yet ^^

I'll try it out as soon as I got decent internet connection again :)

Hehe, sure ^^

You welcome! Is that you in your avatar?

o cool!! i will check it sometime :) um...that sounded so wrong lol! hope u doing ok, take care rowie :P ps. do u think ppl will think im a lez coz of my avatar? lol

oh yes, that was your bag, the mono vs. stereo thing. glad you got it figured out. I'll go listen in a bit.

Downloading it xD

I know, just wanted to give you a tip for the future xD A link to the song would be appreciated ;)

If you want a quick an good *free* mp3 encoder use LAME. lame.sf.net

...brilliant 'favorite tags' btw.

dunno about Switch... The only reason i have iTunes on my computer is to convert songs to .mp3 format-- Edit-> Preferences-> Advanced-> Importing-> import using: --select mp3 encoder & 128kbps as the setting- you should then be able to right click the song when it's in iTunes & convert.

Ladytron is electronic..i recommend them!!!! so great great music!!!

hello!! aaaw we have super music compatibility ^^ yaay shonen knife!!!

she's a bit of a bongo maestro but these days she's too busy watching deal or no deal. i'm sure MES could tempt her out of retirement though

...hmm, song seems to be mono instead of stereo... other than that I don't see anything weird why they won't upload.

I'd delete them & upload the album again. (I maintain TNC music on last.fm) the point I was making before was so they will appear on tag radio & thus make more fans. yay.

yeah, your afraid of the dark song is catchy, most likely from the repetitionary ending. ha nice. why are you guys so unpromotional on last.fm though eh? get more music on here & let's tag away.

noticed your question on bex' page, the orginal was released on another album, read the details here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half_the_World_Is_Watching_Me I think the original is cool too with that jazzy little intro! Hope you don't mind me butting in :-)

yep! i pretty much adore TNC. and oh my goodness! your band is so quirky! haha. having said that, you have an excellent voice! ...I think i've used too many explanation marks in this shout.

artists that prove the uk is the best place in the world for music... nice tag. :) ha.

Where can I find some shonen knife? :0
