Good to hear, the last track is beautiful. They've got another album that's pretty similar, it's called At All Ends. Haven't dug deeper into their discography yet, some of their stuff is really harsh and I don't like that

Yeah I suppose so. If I recall correctly, the EP's aren't as good as the album. I liked the heroin party album, don't really remember everything but it had some really beautiful moments. I'm gonna give it another go tonight : )

I just realized I lied to you, December Sound has actually released 2 EP's aswell. I had forgotten about them since I didn't like them nearly as much, if I recall correctly they aren't as heavy, more like dream pop

The silver album is the only thing they've released actually. That was back in 2007. I'm pretty excited for the new one, but it probably won't drop soon

I only got into best coast because in my class last year there was this one girl who was a qt who wouldn't stop talking about them so I tried to listen to them. I ended up liking them a lot and then she moved ;_;

I saw your post requesting a recommendation for a Sonic Youth album. Sister, Daydream Nation, Goo and Dirty are the ones I'm most familiar with and are all worth checking out. Sonic Youth has a pretty broad spectrum of styles but those four albums all fall into more or less the same category stylistically. If I had to choose a top ten song list the first song on Sister, Schizophrenia, would definitely be on it.
