I never said that either. The point is, if you're going to talk shit about music your charts better consist of more than the most artists from the top 40. Foo Fighters are pop punk, they may have been labeled as alt rock because Dave Grohl is in the band but they have pop elements, make no mistake about it (not that that's a bad thing anyway). Gallows is post-hardcore more than anything. Hardcore punk has a very distinct sound and they're far from it. Like whatever you like, but don't talk about music when you're just barely scratching the surface.

Never said expanding your horizons meant listening to black and death metal. How about Jazz? Stoner rock? Hardcore Punk? All I see is pop rock.

Well besides them jumping ship to pop rock, they made horrendous metalcore before that and their vocalist sucks with or without throat surgery. You don't watch MTV or have any rock radio stations near you? I find that hard to believe, because your top 15 is a perfect representation of the tripe they play 24/7. Yeah, I do like Lead Sails alot, i do like screaming though i just prefer when they use it as sort of more of a background effect rather then like the lead vocals, although at times it's pretty good. also your music taste is awesome :P
