You definitely should, when you get a chance. His books are extremely funny, weird, unorthodox and really clever. A lot of his material is critical about the World Wars and American society, but you wouldn't even know it because of how entertaining it is. There are moments when you're just reading a passage and you'll suddenly understand a metaphor he's using and laugh at the same time. It's all good stuff, and his books aren't even too long either.

Yeah, I read Huck Finn in sophomore year and I read a little bit of Tom Sawyer back when I was a kid but I hated the character so much and couldn't finish it. I've been reading a lot of Kurt Vonnegut lately.

They're probably the latest artist that I'd lump into my favorites group. They're like...idk the best thing to call them in my opinion is avant-garde...maybe experimental rock but the first album, which I like more, isn't really rock at all to me. They're usually considered experimental post punk I guess. They're a huge influence on industrial, post rock, etc.
