Youre a lucky man, I shouldve been more patient but like I said power kept dying so I ventured off and brocked out else where. Pre Sales have gone up already, next pay check (ish) will be going towards my tickets, will be going with a different crowd tho, my girlfriend isnt really into electronica and she tried her best but I dont think she really enjoyed the all nighters lol. And its at last one boat party for me next time too. ahaha true that, Is aw girls aloud a few years back for that very same reason. Saturdays it is! My brother is gonna love me.

Haha I should quit my complaining then...Roots were quality, I had seen them before with the Cinematic Orchestra but decent to see them in a festival atmosphere. Think I have narrowed it down to Roska, Walsh & N-Type and of course Distance...was a shame about the generators packing in from time to time, meant I missed Synkro. Im a definiate for next year tho! No sadly I didn't get on board, I watched longingly as Stenchman closed his set on one of the boats they did look very daft youre right. How was Silkie et al? Just been on my pure hmv account and seen I have enough points to go to one of their gigs- now to decide: Magnetic Man or the Saturdays? BTW Loving Rosetta at the moment. Peace

Hope you had a massive week I sure did! Got back last night after being stuck on a bus in Croatia for seven hours while it poured smoke from the engine then getting to the airport 15 minutes before the plane was due to leave to find out it was delayed by two hours but who cares cos Outlook was huge and now I have got my copy of The Album- a perfect answer to the holiday blues. I cannot place a favorite performance yet but my girlfriend seems to have placed Gentlemen's Dub Club pretty high on the list. How was it for you? Peace.

Change of plan, leaving for Slovenia tomorrow then getting the bus to Croatia on Wednesday so will be in Pula Wednesday evening. Yeah we are staying at the hostel. Same here, I'm going out there with my girlfriend but know a bunch of people from Essex that are gonna be there so plan to meet up. To be fair they look epic so cant blame that logic at all. 07500987606. ONE MORE SLEEP!! Peace.

Cheers man, yeah barricade was one of my final degree pieces that I put a lot of effort into so glad its getting a good response. Yeah still with my girlfriend which is sound. Ah man a right mix from the wailers to andrew weatheral to wanda jackson, their website probably best explains it: http://www.vintageatgoodwood.com/about/aboutus.aspx silkie is one of the ones that had sold out so youre a lucky man- safe, that is good news! It's so close now!! Getting money changed up and stuff this week then jetting off to Slovenia on Tuesday travel through to Croatia for Thursday and then it begins. How many of you are heading out there then? Oh thanks for inadvertently introducing me to Omega Massif- addicted now. Peace.

Cheers dude, quite a few of them were corporate affairs so I dont own the right to images/logos etc so cannot put them up online which is frustrating but Im working on a "user friendly" showreel....just put up a few odd bits from my degree- http://vimeo.com/user3479209 haha well, we had to move from the first house cos lease ran out, the second place was an impulse and we decided (just before contracts got signed) that it wasnt the right thing so I moved in with my grandma for a few weeks and did the sensible thing- ie save and actually do some viewings then this little gem came up so Im finally settled. Ah not yet, Ive only had my grade breakdown not my actual graduation yet, off to the vintage festival tomorrow so plenty of drinking to be done then. ace man, silkie is so sick- I have not actually booked any yet so probably missed out but I couldn't decide then went without the web for like a month, lame I know. I hope stenchman does an onland set as well tho. Peace

An even greater apology then for my response time (also only just gor the web back in my life.) I am definitely putting an American road trip on my list of travels the county is too big not to have something of enjoyment and wonder. Haha I envy your resting it's been pretty hectic this end, I landed three big filming projects which I am just bringing to a close now as well as moving house (twice) but finally settled now. I havent had a chance to go to anything like that in so long, heading to a Vintage festival at Goodwood in a couple of weeks then of course the mighty Outlook! New house is epic, its a 15th century cottage so rammed with character, stills smells of old ladies at the moment tho. Got my grades, 4% off a 1st but i am pleased with my 2:1 all thing considered (lack of effort and it being very fun). Awesome album- love love the cinematic orchestra, saw them back in November, Roots Manuva came on an did an encoure as well. You booked any boat parties? Peace.

What was that for? Thats what I felt about my time in Egypt, the pyramids were sick but the constant view of sand wore pretty thin lol. Would love to go somewhere like Tokio tho cos it looks mental. Wow some of the highlights of America, I was always antil America when I was younger but there is so much there to see I shouldnt rule it out. Awesome, i've been so busy on a load of different film shoots recently so not had a chance, plus moving house today so everything is chaotic, glad you've got one tho! Hows the rest period going? You got your grades yet? Thanks for that introduction- he is wicked, although I actually a bunch of his tracks on my itunes already from some compilations. I was in Newcastle in my dream lastnight no exactly sure why...never been in real life, only been to MAnchester a few times to see family. Peace

Where in asia and america did you go? I'd love to do more of the world only constraint is time and money (not so easy to come by atm). Sanctorum but I just realised they played bloodstock not hellfest so ignore my previous comment. Yeah man Ulver are sick- go see them in Finland instead bet it would be epic. Ah I cannot wait for Outlook all the venues look so intense, as for the boat trips this is a well tricky one. Think Ive narrowed it down to two: Boat Party 4 – SUBDUB PRESENTS – IRATION STEPPAS, EXODUS, SAMMY DREAD, DANMAN, MAKI BANTON or Boat Party 5 – TECTONIC PRESENTS – PINCH, DISTANCE, JACK SPARROW, RSD, DJ 2562, DREAD MC Think they are/ plan to send out a few hundred more I got something about it in email.Yeah the end is a good feeling and I've managed to get a load of filming work straight away which is pretty handy. Ah sick man I've never seen James Blake, need to check him out. Whats the nightlife like in Manchester I haven't been there since I was a young one. Hell yeah!

Haha I did a lot of it instead of going to college, Ive only been out of Europe once would love to do Asia. One of my old school fiends bands played hellfest, like you there was not a massive band appeal but a festival with mates is always fun..I do womad each year and rarely know more than 10 artists on the line up but still have an awesome time and discover plenty of new sounds. But I agree, it simply ticks all boxes. Just tool twice oh and Franz Ferdinand in Dublin but by accident they were playing a gig in the street and I stumbled past lol.haha so true man, I hate the sinking feeling when none of the numbers come in when just seconds before you were living the high life, lotto rage! Yeah man every time someone mentions a festival I load up the outlook page and watch their faces as they realise u2 and a muddy field doesn't cut it....but yeah the only downside is literally who to see and who to miss. Finish Uni in 5 days- cannot wait, much left for you?

This year I've been to/have booked for France, Egypt, Sardinia, Slovenia, Croatia & Tenerife...in last few years I've also done Germany,France,Spain,Austria & Holland a number of times and Prague once. Ive been to a some gigs abroad but Outlook will be my forst foreign festival- what one did you go to in France? Haha yea Im sure the bus could be a laugh, defo if the driver was lenient as well. Yeah man should be easy to find each other then. Youre better than me, I dont play but still have the dream, its no way to live but just imagine lol.grim sums it up well, my friend jokingly tried to tell us it was Parisian- he's been there too long.I wasnt aware of them but got myself a spotify account and have very much enjoyed listening to them...my cd wishlist is getting out of control again! Cheers for the introduction. Peace

Yeah man, I did a bit of travelling a few years ago and me and the missus have done a few countries together already so have the bug and it actually worked out cheaper than simply flying to Croatia! (prob not after hostels and food tho lol) Ah awesome, exactly man it makes perfect sense- we should meet up for a bit over the festival- have you seen that ScorZayZee has been added to the line up, I'd only go for comedy value but it'd be worth it, the guy was hilarious in Le Donk. For sure, dont know about you but I've always had a mild fascination with winning the lottery- would be somewhat ideal dont you think? I was gutted to miss it but it was one of my oldest friends birthdays so we all went out to see him, he lives in Hull- that's a seriously depressing night out, so yeah like you I'll have to wait until Outlook which is gonna eb such a highlight of this year. Peace.

(Just deleted the start of the message by accident so here it is): Lucky bastard, that would be a grand enough reason for me to move to Leeds, strong competition for Bristol at least. Yeah London can be a bit silly- for example it can cost £2.50 for a bottle of water in Fabric but what the hell the nights always blinding so it never matters.

Um not really only five months- it was a very impulsive thing for us both but has worked out a treat, I share a bedroom her and rent another which is my "office"- basically a sanctuary to hide and play loud music...yeah we're going together, a group of mates plan to come but we're not travelling together, gonna fly to Slavonia then go by train across to Croatia. I've booked one of the hostels off the website which cos £117 for both of us for the duration of the festival. Yeah man cannot disagree with that at all, gonna be an odd feeling being out of education but we are still young so the proper jobs can wait! London would be sweet, I love the whole vibe in the Shorditch area however the tubes mean youre only ever a few stops from the next place...any updates on four lions? peace PS I just got this in my inbox, if my pay cheque clears in time this might have to be attended!>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJ-yR34N96w

Just checked out the website, man that picture house looks awesome! The building's pretty grand and the films are show all look amazing not to mention its dirt cheap, thats one wicked venue to have near by. Indeed, its fine once you're up there and to be honest I've done the tubes so many times (I work in London regularly as well) theyre second nature but the journey from here to there bores the tears out of me and costs far too much as well lol. Wicked, well from what I've heard Leeds is a pretty boss place to be and if you're settled then why the hell not. I recently got a house with my girlfriend so guess that makes me settled here, although we wouldn't mind trying out a few locations around the UK, I've had my heart on Bristol for a while but for now Im just gonna stay where the work is.

haha, I feel privileged! Yeah Bonobo were pretty special, I've been listening to his radio a lot recently, great for doing uni work to. When I get all of that out the way I'm gonna check out some of the music you listen to a bit further. It looks like some some interesting stuff. You heading to any festivals this year? Just saw Mogwai in your list, not heard much of their stuff but "the sun smells too loud" is something special.

Im not a massive fan myself but a mate got me the ticket so couldn't see the harm in it should be a good gig. Thats what I would have expected Im anticipating a European tour or at least a new album- something to add to the addiction lol. Amazing, what is it called? you dont know how lucky you are to have that, despite my comment in an earlier message about London being close and having no excuse for not getting up there, where I actually live in Colchester there is jack like that and the jouney's not always on the cards. Are you just at Uni in Leeds or will you be staying there after? Peace.

Well that cannot be bad...if my memory serves me correctly the next gig Ive got lined up (excluding the ones I work) is Band of Horses, you a fan? Ah man TOOL has incredible live, first time I saw them was in Paris then the hunger kicked in and I went three more times on that tour- Dublin and London twice. Oh yeah that artist is fucking mental, doesn't he start to cut himself and stab a sofa? The whole documentary is pretty strange to be fair but like you said highly interesting. Where did you see it to be open that late (for film). I look forward to your report on four lions as no where locally is showing it to my knowledge. Peace.
