that's some pretty rad gear. since we've last talked I think I've just gotten my 6505+ and an assortment of pedals. nothing really new on the guitar front (thinking about getting a carvin made up for me soon), and I need a new cab (thinking about saving for an orange 412, but I might opt for an avatar). and what about some post metal type stuff? that'd be a pretty cool project to start.

thanks so much dude! and yeah, most people don't seem to be into his vocals. we're going for a more post metal type vocal styling on top of a more progressive death metal sound, but no one seems to really be liking the vocals on top of that type of music. I'll keep you updated on when we release the rest of the stuff! how's your guitar stuff been?

that does sound pretty good. But, our problem would be recording drums. The POD would solve the guitar tone's problem, but we don't know how in the world we'd record drums. That recording that I just showed you, the drums were recorded with a mic dangling from the ceiling.

Keep in mind while you're listening: it was recorded on an 8 track, so the quality is not very good, but it seems to be better then the studio we went to over the summer, so It's presentable. It makes me sad too =(. Speaking of, I didn't get to tell you how BTBAM was! Scale the Summit was much better then when I saw them with Dream Theater, something about small venues that just makes them better. Plus, they were spot on perfect. Devin Townsend was incredible, a lot of my friends said he stole the show. I loved Cynic even more then when I saw them with Meshuggah. Oh, and BTBAM was fucking incredible. Swim to the Moon and White Walls back to back. It was orgasmic.

The Faceless were incredible. Long story short - deathcore bands and their fans suck. Enfold Darkness, Dying Fetus & The Faceless were incredible. I got to meet Michael for the 3rd time (in 3 shows), and I got another pick! (3rd one in 3 shows). Also got to meet Derrick (who had the sickest Agoraphobic Nosebleed shirt on ever), and Steve. Got my ticket signed by Michael and Derrick. Planetary Duality part ll was incredible live. Also, when I was talking to Michael, he said new album should be out by June or July 2010

They probably sell them somewhere on the internet, unfortunately. Haha.
