In defense, I read an interview where Jason was responding on how they're (obviously) dubbed as "sludge/doom" and Jason wasn't very pleased. He described the band, the sound, whatever, as metal, progressive, punk, thrash (and a few others). I was amazed he felt that way. But if you listen to their first album Bestial, and even Feather and Stone, you can hear what he means. There are atleast 2 tracks in my head that i can see calling thrash/punk. But as the entire band, i'd think he was on some dope if he weren't damn near straight edge....Invernal however, is so damn different. i love it, but i think this album was good for a go, i dug the shit outta the style of Chronomega (and Bestial, but Chronomega for sure.....)
