( this is holy from type c ) i just finished listening to iamamiwhoami's kin. i have no idea why it's taken me this long to really appreciate her, but i'll just say thanks a lot for the recommendation. i've been in musical rut for a long time and i'm only just now getting around to things that were overshadowed by my popularity based contempt. it's silly that that's really in factor in what i listen to, but, at least i can be honest about it.

Yup I have the blue island pass! The video for that track isn't available there yet either but I'm sure it will be once it's out on YouTube, since the other tracks have videos available for download too. Yes it's definitely a great release :D Can't tell if I like it better than kin or not but it stands really well on its own and I'm still in love. <3 (Also on the island pass they released all tracks as raw wav files so you can convert to any lossless format you prefer which is super awesome!)

I didn't like it at first except for the obvious dance hits (full of fire is rave bedroom material) but it has grown on me a lot since it leaked; who knows, it might end up surpassing Silent Shout as a favourite of mine. I'd love to spend a whole day with these guys, especially in the studio; wouldn't that be amazing? On another note, I know it is kind of disappointing that there aren't many artists around willing to take risks, thank heaven bands like The Knife are setting the bar way too high for acts to come. :D

I'd give 8.8 to Shaking the Habitual, it could have been better album, though.

Whoa, so Light Asylum actually released some follow-up to the EP :D I tooooootally loved the atmosphere of "Dark Allies". Planningtorock I do love aswell : D The Golden Filter and Rosemary both look very promising, each in its own way, thank you for showing them. As for Rebeka - I'm sorry to tell you that, but they didn't say anything about new album. What worse, the vocalist is touring with her other project right now [ [url=http://hellowdog.bandcamp.com/]you might want to check it[/url]] so I doubt they're working on creating compositions for the album at the moment. Anyway, did you know they released a two-track EP last year? it's free to download from [url=http://www.brennnessel.pl/]their label's site[/url]. Not as good as Stars, but still quite enjoyable :-)
