I don't have much time today, but I'll gladly make a song by song review tomorrow. Overall I kind of like it. Thematically I like it more than Scums, but the problem is that it is not as cohesive. Pacing is still an issue, track placement has been all over the place since they are on Avex. Performance wise I think is much stronger than Scums, both on vocals and instumental-wise. Probably better than "Nightmare". There are songs that stand out a lot for me and others than have nice bits but fail to be memorable. I remember feeling this way when Majestical Parade was out although I found this CD easier to like than Majestical parade, even if sound and style was more compact. Will go track by track tomorrow, but as a whole I think thats how I feel in few words.

I like them a lot, specially their earlier releases. I like Dead End more, though. Creature is a bit more dark but I think Dead End has a more interesing range for me and smarter writing. I also like Morries vocals more on the 80s and 90s when they were not as deep. But overall both bads are pretty much great.

The album had potential to be GREAT but the vocals are garbage in some songs. Most disappointing vocals was in the epic title track. Overall I'd give it a 7/10. Great songs include Classical element ( Minus the vocals for the most part ), Decadence, Scarlet, Forever with you, and Heavens Atlas.

I don't have a consolidated opinion on either of the ex-versailles' CDs. I can say that I founded Classical Element more interesting than Louis. I was not sure I could like it very much as the single was not amazingly exciting for me, but cool enough. It ended up being a quite solid prog-ish metal album, stecially for visual kei standards. Kamijo's CD was not as surprising but I think is appealing on it's own way. I have to dive deeper but I think both CDs are good at different levels. But neither of them draws my attetion like what Versailles was doing before they released Destiny. But there is potential in Jupier now that they don't have to deal with their vampire story stuff and can arrange things in more ways.

I have to agree. It should have been the A side, I think. The other two songs were OK. Dizzy was not specially interesting but it's easy to get into. High Roller is kind of forgeteable but is nice to hear Yomi singing on a higher picth. I think that they idea of Nightmare having to have deep vocals has been holding them back a lot. I look for this wider range on more interesting songs. I am actually surprised you listened to the single! I ended up liking it more than what I expected but I gess I'm rather easy to please when it comes to this band.

On jupiter: writing is far better than later Versailles on the A side. Guitar is great. Vocals are hit or miss but I got used to them fast... wich doesn't mean I like them at all. But I find them beareable. B sides feel like fillers but I keep going back. I look forward to their album. Maybe we may have songs as good as blessing of the future. As for Nightmare, I am also kind moving along. I liked their last album a lot at first but got tired of it fast. New single previews did nothing for me. I will listen to it for the B-sides but not really hyped anymore.

I'm sure we will. Like a helpless moth inexplicably drawn to a flame, you can't resist my Masonic-Reptilian charms. △

Awww, you deleted my shout. I'm heartbroken. I thought we had something; some secret, shared moment of happiness, only we two could share. You've broken my heart. </3

I heard what Sho talked about, but it didn't penetrate at first. Now I could make sure that they would release two self cover albums, not three. They will promote the first album with a national tour starting from June, and the second album will also be supported by the mini tour beginning in October.

I'm not aware of these home recording guitarists you mentioned.Iron metal?Where did you hear that?I have no interest in Touhou series, maybe it's just a publicity trick for the doujin circle.

Versailles should not be labelled as visual kei .Unlike many I don't think they were visual kei stars who lacked soul and individual expression, but it had been attracting an overflow crowd of visual kei fans.in order to pande to such people, their music had actually gotten worse,I guess lol It's a shame to put galneryus and visual kei together.I just expect them to find a way for their rise to fame, but Syu always will be a genius with his feet on the ground, why let myself be worried by it?
