What makes all these opera singers to be classical crossover artists? I didnt understand this was a genre when I started using it. I just didnt have anything to seperate Emilie Autumn, Vanessa-Mae, Thomas Jelonek, Lindsey Stirling, Kanon Wakeshima, Yoshida Brothers, etc. From Classical/Traditional Folk-Pop/Rock/Alternative/Dubstep/Electronic.

Hey. How is it that Sumi Jo is missing from your presentation of "classical crossover" artists? Apart from being arguably the world's greatest coloratura soprano, she's also THE crossover artist. Try her : Besame Mucho, her "Sometimes I feel like a motherless child", even "Love is just a dream"

Huh. Never heard of this genre until I saw it listed as a tag. I think I actually sort of like it!

someone rewrite that description up top. Whilst we know that Canon in D is popular among non-classical types, that shouldn't be the crux of the article. Classical Crossover to the rest of us means classical or vocal-classical music being interpreted or applied to any non-traditional form. Every artist listed above or to the right of this comment fits that description. Mario Lanza does not fit into this category, except maybe some retechnified Fatboy Slim version a la Moulin Rouge, etc.
