it kind of sounds like they took the photoshop sharpen tool to an album. it's strangely piercing and lacks a lot of the depth the original mix had. i don't understand why bands keep remastering albums that had nothing wrong with them in the first place

To me Heartworms is a grower. That has happened to me with all Shins albums, except Port of Morrow. But are albums that need a couple of listens really worse than love at first listen? I don't think so.
