Kane Welch Kaplin

Based around the songwriting of Kieran Kane and Kevin Welch, plus the acclaimed multi-instrumental talents of Fats Kaplin, KANE WELCH KAPLIN has now expanded into a four-piece band with the addition of Kieran’s son Lucas Kane on percussion. Kieran and Kevin have written for top-selling U.S mainstream country artists for years and started swapping songs on stage in the late 1990’s as a very “loose duo”, while still pursuing successful solo careers. In 2004 Fats came on board to record the highly acclaimed 'You Can’t Save Everybody' album that launched the new trio format as a touring act - touring Australia in 2005. Their unique Folk-Country-Blues writing combined with their invigorating, live, seat-of-the-pants approach to recording is well demonstrated on their current self-titled album which has received solid ABC Radio airplay across the country and confirmed them as favourites of Australian audiences.
