The Radio Dept.

The Radio Dept., made up of Johan Duncanson, Martin Carlberg and Daniel Tjäder, are back in Singapore!

The name was taken from a gas station/radio repairer shop in Lund, Sweden which had a large sign with the name “Radioavdelningen, (“The Radio Department” in Swedish) hanging outside their shop.

They began creating records on the home made slottet label in 1995 and have since been producing indie pop records through Labrador. The band started making waves both in Sweden and internationally in the early 2000s after their debut album “Lesser Matters” was released.
