The Copyrights play Groezrock 2012!
Every few years a band comes along in the underground with enough force to break through the surface, that's The Copyrights for sure! Formed in 2002 and from Illinois.
They have released five full-length albums and four EPs and are currently signed to Red Scare Industries. On their latest and well received album , North Sentinel Island (2011), they continue their assault on the genre of pop-punk; creating, mutating, and reengineering the sound into something more aggressive, fun and exciting than anything heard before. This shit really, really rips!
The Copyrights toured with bands like Dead To Me, Strike Anywhere and Off With Their Heads. They played fests all around the US like Riot Fest, Gainsville Fest, CMJ, Awesome Fest, and Insubordination Fest and they play Groezrock 2012!!
