For the music, I'm gonna make you a short compilation with artists like Chelsea Wolfe, The Drones, Woodkid, Black Light Burns, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Ulterior, Steve Von Till... Otherwise, I hope we get a new Cranes album this year! It seems that they still are working on. BTW, I'm going to US for the first time this summer... NYC precisely (not very original but I have to begin with the most common I think) ;)

How's life treating you?

Oh yes! Let England Shake is one of her best album (with To Bring You My Love, Is This Desire? and White Chalk)

In fact, it's a concept album where many artists covered a song called "Boule" which is about a stupid dog :)

Yeah! She'll release a new album on 18th October (of what we can read on some webzines but we don't know the title yet). She played two new songs last year at a festival in England. It's ok. There are very good ("Give", "Abnormally Attracted To Sin", "Lady In BLue, "Flavor") and interesting tracks ("Police Me", "Strong Black Vine", "Starling", "That Guy") on it. As usual, the album is a bit too long and it needs to be edited (I always skip three tracks "Not Dying Today", "500 Miles", "Fire To Your Plain"). But three on 17 tracks is pretty good. You didn't already listen it?

I'm one of these "Pop4" haters, maybe that's why I don't like "High and Low". "Diorama" and "Sleepwalking" are interesting tracks: really weird and coherent with the rest of the album.

Yes it seems to judging the songs length. Last year "White Chalk" was one of the shortest album of the year but at the same time one of the best. Hope it will be the same for "Cranes". :)

Argh... Cranes are touring in France but I don't know if I will be free this day... :( I don't know why but the new picutre on their myspace + title album make me think that "Cranes" won't be as dark as their previous stuffs (I think they'll keep "P&W" sound which I don't like).
