I know what you mean, it's tough to make a playlist that will fit in no matter what direction the night might take. Happy birthday btw!

Just stopping in...how is everything? Found any good new tunes?

Finally got to check out the link you sent on Krush. Been checking out other of his stuff. You were right.

U B gone?

Fricking shame. I could give a shit that everyone knows what I listen to. I was a bit wierded out at the beginning, but got into it to be able to find the folks that listen to similar stuff or are just into music. That is not what this site is about. I want to find new stuff. I like creating radio stations, but I will likely drop off if I cannot get full tracks. I spend a large amount of time researching on here. They limited us to 2 plays of full tracks anyway, so big fkcng deal. Now they cut that? RIAA successes = customer misery. I buy music, and sometimes I wonder why. They hate their customers. I just cannot rip off the artists even if they never see a cent.

@Kaiserzeitgeist - You walk around the corner after the big galleries, and there it is. Cannot miss it. Nice to have the four museums as my extended living room right there. @pfs1 - I spiked really heavily on Aes Dana recently. I figured you would dig Pretty Lights. Glad you did!

Schön. Grüß Euch! I think you are very lucky to be so close to the Alte Pinakothek. I have never seen this actual painting, but I understand from those who have that is very captivating and dominates the gallery in which it hangs. Is that your experience? Thanks for the shout and greetings in return from the land of the Great Satan.

Loving Pretty Lights! I've been getting the same tracks on my french electro station for a while now, so this is a refreshing way out into something new. Seems our tastes match well beyond the Aes Dana, etc. Thanks for the recco.

@John - Oh you mean wild mood swings in music? Yeah. Comes from working in two very distinct bars. One anything went. The other had to have the downtempo blues and jazz thing but certain types of trip hop were permissible later.

Find the easter egg: [track artist=Mystique Engineerings]Uplifting Utilities[/track] - new tunes for spiritual moments...

ninja....super cool :)

and greets from Canada. Great charts, btw.

Hey hows it goin?

Thank you, Robert! So great to hear from you!

Thanks for the add and have a great week.

hellOoo :) nice to ses ya in our group :) welcome!

Nice one! Cheers sweet! em ... :) :) ;)

Hi and thanks for the recommendation. :) Yeah Spice Barons are/were quite a good band. Pretty amazing that the music was released 15 years ago. Spice Barons music always reminds me of Frank Herberts Dune :)

I also discovered Martin Denny through my Dad's collection. It was the only good thing he had. Everything else was either Perry Como or Johnny Mathis. It's very hard to find Tiki other than Martin Denny. It's always lumped together with other stuff under "Exotica." I also like the surf guitar connection - Dick Dale rules. Anyway, good to see you getting back into electronica.

Back in the 90s I threw Tiki parties and did everything from exotica, cocktail, mambo, cha-cha. It was a natural extension from an interest I picked up in surf guitar that I discovered in my Dad's record collection as a small kid. Martin Denny rules. Looks like he is holding spot 20 overall in my rankings right now.

Are you a Denny fan? I thought I was the only one out there. One of my hobbies is making exotic drinks. Martin is always the composer of choice as I concoct new variations on the Mai Tai template.

We have a very similar music taste, but you don’t know [artist]Ben zen Berg[/artist]. I guess you will enjoy [track artist=Ben zen Berg]Jeep, Sea and Sadness[/track] too :o) And this is a free download on last.fm

I was introduced to Amon Tobin by a friend of mine who's into jazz and bossa, and got instantly hooked. The guy is simply fantastic! Thanks for your msg!

Watchin' the game, havin' a Bud.....

Actually, it's Human Blue by a nose at my track. You need new binoculars.

What is this? Could it be?/ No, it's....Yes, in fact it is! It is! It's Boards of Canada emerging in control, in dominance! Utterly astounding! What of Solar Fields? Chat of Carbon Based Lifeforms! Boards of Canada, now coasting, now coasting in the champagne lap!

hello hello! lol!....busy weekend! lol! ;D aha! hehehe! sooon...she said! lol! I've got it I think...this next week and I should have something to use I hope! ;) :} :)
