Yeah, I didn't like the new Ween either. I never really liked Light me up, King Billy is ok, Slow down boy isn't bad but overall it isn't really that good. The first two tracks are just horrible crap

Hey, have you heard [url=http://www.smallaxerock.com/news.html]Small Axe[/url]? I've heard them being called stoner rock, and being similar to some early Beck (which I haven't heard) and early Ween, I'd also compare them to Monster Magnet - they're a fun rock band, maybe not something mindblowing, but good. PS. I seem to have lost that MOR cd I mentioned, as soon as I find it though

I've got some well due holidays coming up... gonna make this happen, especially since I was going to go to NOLA and had to cancel! Mickey said they weren't going to do another 4 day run after their FLA>ATL experience.... short compared to Dire Straits 21 straight in Australia in '86

They used to be all over dimeadozen and sites like that, but that's lossless. I could upload you some.

No it's like the, pre-Blue Garden stuff. Starting from 1983 or so, it's just him a drum machine and occasionally some other guy, it's way different from everything they've done since. On a side note, You would know is a Queens of the stone age song, it's on their first album.

for more post-punk like the fall, i'd recommend [artist]gang of four[/artist] - Entertainment! also, [artist]the velvet underground[/artist] have a couple of absolutely great early experimental albums. their first album (The Velvet Underground & Nico) is as good a place to start as any. [mac]

Yeah, me too. I really hope there will still be a Masters of Reality album some day. Did you hear any of the Fiffifteeners tracks? I really liked some of those, sort of like the very very early MOR stuff.

Yeah, there's some pretty boring stuff but lots of great tunes too. You should check it out, if you can't find it let me know and I might be able to help.

hey, check out mammoth volume! i think you'll dig them. sorta stoner rock-ish, with prog influences. check out seeds in rocky places or matador. if you can't find them, i can probably upload them somewhere/email them to you.

I'm not sure if I got yoyr point, but I never listen to anything because I want cred for it. I'm not saying my list is too diverse, but I consider myself open to any kind of music. Peace out.
