Not managing my anger/mental health almost ruined those 2 years for me but I made it. I'm proud of anyone else who has gotten sober, this isn't always the easiest shit to deal with. Keep going.

I first joined when I was 16, November 2010. Turning 30 next month. I'm really bad with maths, so I don't understand why you're 2 years older than me, when it was a one-year difference when we joined (same year btw!). But my first acc was hacked, and the second acc I abandoned in 2015. Kinda feel bad that I did because it would've chronicled my history with music. But it's nice to see veterans like you here because it reminds me of my youth. People from that era have a different vibe.

I'm horrible at math but i'm pretty sure I turned 17 that year. LOL. Bummer though, there were a couple slow periods for me, being incarcerated and all that fun shit....but for the most part remained active. It became sooooo handy when I needed to find songs I used to listen to on repeat but forgot about. Music will only ever be the reason why I don't put my phone down. B)

I let it run my formative years and it's been good, bad, and everything in between. Do I miss it? Absolutely not. Did I learn a lot. Absolutely. Grateful to be here today. I'm proud of you if you had gotten sober too. We got this, people. You're in charge.

where else do you go when you're at the bottom? i have learned quite recently that things are not as bad as i make it out to be. it is the way i build it up in my head, so change whatever bullshit negative inner monologue you have of yourself or whatever the situation may be and it gets easier to deal with. i ain't chasing happiness really, i'm just learning how to chill out and not make mountains out of mole hills. i also watched the movie mid90s last night and something resonated with me, "a lot of the time we feel that our lives the worst, but i think that if you looked in anybody else's closet, you wouldn't trade your shit for their shit. "
