Ahahaha, nooooooo moooooore djeeeeeent!!!! Its so weak compared to those beautiful vocal lines with the rest of the instruments, replace djent guitar with classic guitar solos and bridges and the album would be so much better. Take it in a Rush/Floyd prog direction instead of djent. Vocals are already on fire, they would work the prog route. ;)

Man the new TesseracT would be soooo much better without the damned Djent guitar!!! So much potential until that damn weak djent interludes contaminate the otherwise beautiful music.

For the most part I'd go out on a limb and say I am impressed what with they did on Manipulator, but a few songs really do stink up the album. Overall I'd give it a B; it's not as impactful as S/T, but I like it a wee bit more then Doppelganger, so that grants it instant classic status. It does accomplish one thing that no album before by them has, capture their live set's intensity almost to a t.
