To be honest, I'm not too huge on Modest Mouse. They were okay for a bit, but I got tired of them quick. But HORSE and Sigur are lovely.

Yeah, doesn't ring a bell, weird. The rapping was pretty cool, but the repeated flute sample gets tiresome to me.

Yeah I fully listen to only dad fucking rock. Yeah Weezer, Frenzal Rhomb and System of a Down are all "dad rock". And yes I have listened to the song that Coldplay blatantly ripped off. The only reason that Satriani didn't win the case over them was because Coldplay demanded a jury in the case that did not have any people who were associated in music as a career in any way, claiming that it would make it a "Fair trial" which is ridiculous because anybody that knows even the smallest thing about a songs composition can easily hear the similarity between these songs. And Coldplay do suck. They have a couple of semi catchy chords that they repeat over and over again with lyrics that are either horribly generic or just plain ridiculous. They are probably the most overrated band that has ever existed. So don't try and tell me that I am ignorant and haven't looked up what I'm talking about.

Yeah I'm happy they're evolving too, moreso that it's their own style that sounds like.. nothing else on this earth. But yeah same, having a hard time loving their newer stuff as much as the first 3 albums.. think I might even force a few listens through Versions now, I'm still not even on song name basis with it which I find completely shambolic of me :)
