Is it me or does "The Fear Created" by Cosmograf have the same guitar riff as "Last Man Standing" by The Pineapple Thief ? What else have you been listening to recently... anything I should check out ? Also I started a journal about Prog Rock albums, feel free to have a read and post your thoughts. I've also started writing album reviews, there's a link at the top of my page, if your interested :)

How do?... just thought I'd drop in and say hello. What do you think of the new Anathema & Cosmograf albums ? I really like the first 6 tracks on Distant Satellites the other 4 I'm struggling with a bit but overall I think it's good. I've only listened to Cosmograf once so far but first impressions are good although parts of it seem very familiar.

I hope you're having a great time at the Riverside gig. [user]Niclee69[/user] went to the London show on Friday, said it was really good. I'm off to see them at the Robin, Bilston tomorrow.

Have you heard [artist]Wolf People[/artist] ? Check out the latest album Fain (it's on Spotify if you use it) see what you think. It was also in Classic Rock's Top 50 albums of 2013.

I haven't got Riverside tickets yet but I'll be going to The Robin the following night.

I saw you were online thought I'd drop by s and say Hi. Found anything new recently ? Just got hold of Rush - Clockwork Angels Live. Also been on an Amplifier binge recently...

I've heard other people mention The Temperance Movement - might have to check them out. New BBT is EE1 + EE2 + 4 new tracks. You can get the new tracks as an EP if you already have parts 1 & 2. They've also mixed up the track ordering, to good effect.

I don't think it's your kind of stuff but I'm really into the new albums by The Temperance Movement and Jason Isbell at the moment. Also I've sort of fell in love with Joanne Shaw Taylor... in a musical sense you understand. I see Big Big Train have a new one out... is it just English Electric parts 1 & 2 together ? Is there any new material on there...

What's the new Haken album like... any good ?

Days Between Stations & Shineback - worth checking out ?

What did you think of Purson ? I gave it a few listens but it didn't really grab me. Spiderwood Farm was OK though. I'm still into Wisdom of Crowds and an album call Dino Rocket Oxygen from a Japanese band call [artist]Yuka & Chronoship[/artist] it's on Spotify if you use it. Sort of piano-guitar based instrumental prog. Have a good weekend - looks like another hot one.

Really like that Wisdom of Crowds album. Got some great sounds on it. Could be "find of the year" so far...

Have you checked out [artist]Sounds Of Contact[/artist] yet ? Don't let the fact that it's Phil Collins son put off :)

Dude! I'm really sorry... just checked on the Riverside website and it does say that the Sheffield show is cancelled. Doesn't say why. How far away from Leamington are you ? Can you make it down to that gig ? I know there are tickets on the door...

I see your getting ready for Riverside. One of my "friends" went to see them in Germany last weekend, said they were great. I'm still hoping to go to see them in Leamington on Sunday. Not 100% yet.
