deftones for me is the musical equivalent of junk food, so I'll make sure to give it another go when that mood strikes

It's a sophisticated record. More closer to The Cure than it is to "metal" music, imo.

I hear nothing sophisticated about it, same tired ass uninspired nu-metal riffs in the first two songs. It bores me too much to listen further
