speaking of portishead, i couldn't really get into them back then, seemed kinda inaccessible to me...but i re-discovered their albums 2 years ago (after finding them in a drawer) and now their music makes perfect sense.

yeah this album was made for sparking one up. i didn't know tricky was popular in the states, though?

I like bloc party too but I am absolutley crazy about the liber. and babys. I can't stop to listen them xD i don't have any family in usa or anywhere :)

I'm not sure I understood your message; did you mean that I probably like 4 verse british rock bands? If you look at my profile you'll see that that's not largely the case. Anyway, I liked ( and still do) Interpol's sound, but once I could make out the lyrics it really put me off them. That article in Stylus pretty much hits the nail on the head; the lyrics are cringeworthy beyond belief - far less profound than almost any band I know! Anway, each to his own :)

Heores del Silencio se separaron y ya no suenan casi, su cantante Bumbury hizo varios discos en solitario, de muchos estilos diferentes, y ha colaborado con mucha gente, creo que sigue en activo.

Escuchar buena música en España es una Utopia, aqui triunfa David Bisbal y una serie de grupos de calidad nula, con nombres tan estúpidos como "El Canto del Loco" "La Oreja de Van Gohg" etc etc, Bloc Party... entre el reducto de teenagers con inquietudes, por cierto su último disco es un poco malo...

Bueno vivo en new jersey nacido aqui, pero mis padres son de espana. Madre de Galicia y mi padre de Asturias. ya estuve en espana por lo menos10 veces asi que no soy muy yankee....Tengo family in Madrid..muy poca pero un par de primos...choa..visca barca!!
