Yeah, they still got it. I wish I could of seen Primus when they were in Tennessee last, but.. Didn't have a ride. I seen them in 2010 though. It was amazing. I've also seen Les live with the Fungi Band, they were just as great as Primus. Also, never heard of Anatomy of Habit, will keep them in mind. and I've never listened to Blind Idiot God. I know of them though.

Yeah, I get you. I've tried to find weirder sludge and doom. But, never find anything that great. Like, I would love to find something with sludge/fuzzy bass and modulated noises. But, no luck. But, I found this list: https://rateyourmusic.com/list/Amplipyre/avant_doom_and_cerebral_sludge/ and, Melvins are still weird enough to be called avant-garde. But, they are on the more rocking side. So, I get you.. Also, I seen them Sunday and meet Buzz for the 2nd time. They did 2 Butthole Surfers covers and I was right in front of Pinkus the whole time. It was great. I would really like to see Bardo Pond, their music is a dream come true for me. oh, and I love the Pop Group's new album, it's one of this year's best.

Yeah. Of course The Melvins are the gods of experimental stoner metal. Also, there's Harvey Milk, The Body, Bongripper, and maybe you'd like Bardo Pond. They mix drone, space rock, shoegaze and noise rock. Have you listened to them? I love them. Also never listened to GoGoGo Airheart. Will keep them in mind.

My favorite is Horse Cock Phener. It's really folk with some punk and noise rock. It's weird that it's my favorite because it has no Indian influences, and I love the stuff with indian style drone. Also, I get you on Stoner stuff. I really love it, but I get why it's not everybody's cup of tea.

I need to listen to Kaliflower more. It's good. Weird starting spot though. But, still good. and, I don't know, maybe it's just that Nashville is like an hour away, so I never just go for like local stuff or anything. But, I've heard there's some great stoner metal stuff around there. Never looked into it though. Also, how was Guerilla Toss? I actually watched a live vid today. They seem good live.

SCG take a little too understand. But, once you do.. You'll be hooked. At least I was. And, there's never any good local shows. The city next to me has some hardcore bands, but they are all the same. I have to go to Nashville and Knoxville to see most shows. Which sucks because I don't have a car. But, I'm seeing the Melvins next month!

Yes, TFUL282 are so amazing. I love their mix of poppy rock , weirdo folk and noise rock, It all works so well. But, I never get why they are compared to Sun City Girls so much, though.

Yesum. I have a ps1 emulator with LSD... It's pretty cool but it gets very repetitive... I wish there was a newer version of it; there is no other game quite like it because you don't have an objective other than to experience the world... If there were a larger amount of world variables it would be endless enjoyment... I have thought about learning how to make mods for the Fallout/Elderscrolls Havok engine to make a game like LSD, but that would just take so much time.

I crafted a short electronic album a few weeks ago & uploaded them on here... the radio won't load up but you can bring up the album then go to each individual song & it will let you listen & scrobble the whole thing. Feedback would be appreciated! http://www.last.fm/music/Snakes+In+The+Tree+of+Knowledge

Like Death Grips? Hmm, I don't know if I can agree with that, lol. Well, thanks to HTRK, i've been getting back into Post-punk. A lot of Swans, Bauhaus and Sonic Youth.

Hey no problem! I was lucky and found both CDs, used!, at a record store in Denver, Co called (the infamous )Wax Trax. They were 5 bucks each and I have never heard of Coughs before but the album covers looked interesting so I bought em. Some of the best 5 dollars ever spent! Although five dollars did get me to see Lightning Bolt once.

holy shit, I dig it. It's a minimal sound, yet the snares are hard. And the video's pretty crazy.

hey I saw your comment on the Coughs page, if your looking to buy their material try here http://www.discogs.com/artist/Coughs I highly doubt any of their material is still in print so used is your best option. Hope this helps.

I didn't mosh or crowd surf because I'm generally terrified at shows like that, but it was fucking awesome. My favorites had to be Magrudergrind and Napalm Death. I always enjoy Cannibal Corpse, if not just because Corpsegrinder is an awesome front man.

hnng I know I was pretty paranoid it would sell out before I bought my ticket and I would seriously not know what to do with myself if it did.

Almost literally every time I click on an event I'm interested in, your username is there, (even Deerhunter, dude? You probably have the best taste in music) so yes probably. We've probably already seen each other 100 times without realizing it.

I believe it is from The Alien vs Predator arcade game. haha I had the PC one, it was badass. The Studios is going to begin filming our next project "In Absense" in July. There will be video auditions for cast (and crew too probably) from May 28- June 11th. The story is right up your ally, if you think you might be interested. https://www.facebook.com/inabsencefilm?fref=ts

I saw that you listen to a lot of STS9, figure you might really enjoy Papadosio. Saw them live last summer it's really good psychedelic jam band stuff.

The album Animatronic is the beginning of their craziness; like you can still tell they are black metal at that point but they are incorporating a lot of industrial and hardcore techno into the breakdowns (keep in mind this was the late ninetys so there is nothing dubstep about that) & the album after that SETI is more industrial metal basically with black metal only in some of the vocals, but has a very acid craziness element to all the songs.. the go-to song on that album is Acid Theatre. I will definately check out nachtmystium sounds right up my alley.

yes! I did see 'off the air'.. it made me have to check my mouth to see if I had a blotter in there or something haha I haven't heard of direwolf but space alien black metal reminds me of one of my olde favourite bands.. the kovenant. they start off as a regular black metal band but as their albums progress they start doing acid and getting a more unique electronic metal sound. I didn't appreciate the black metal scene until I read the book "lords of chaos'' it tells the origins and church burnings that were started over in Europe. I saw you have a facebook page link on here, you mind if i send you a friend request?

hahah tits. I actually think berzerker would be a good place to start, i really like them. I don't really do favourites often, but I have been listening to a lot of satyricon as of late.. i like their dedication to all that is evil. and of course classics like dark funeral.. side note I have really been getting into superjail.. probably seen at least 20 episodes now

I agree I love jazz and jazz incorporation. I just checked out Painkiller, I like it but I think I would appreciate it more if I listened to more grindcore.. Do you have any recommendations for a grindcore band or 2 that is like a hybrid with death or black metal (which i listen a lot of)? I feel like its one of those genres that I have to ease my way into really get into it, but as it stands right meow I just don't think I really "know" how to enjoy the grind style.. if that makes any sense.

Actually yeah, my girlfriend and a close friend from home and I are seriously considering it. I'm not sure if I'm more excited about seeing Pig Destroyer or Repulsion, to be honest, since they're such a legendary band.
