ah it was awesome, just as good as the last time I saw them. kawabata setting fire to his guitar was a welcome addition, though, contrary to what the poster stated, it didn't go on forever. still, fun fun fun. it's bumming me out that I have absolutely no upcoming gigs for the foreseeable future; I looked at capsule's 'coming up' page and it's empty too, so it's not just me! but yeah, I figure there has to be some sort of scene in leicester but all I've found is piss-poor singer/songwriters...

yeah, I'm going back for the weekend, but I go to leicester uni so it ain't too far. plus kings heath is like 10 minutes in a taxi from where I live in brum, though I will admit it still is an awkward (albeit cool) location. but yeah, I saw that line up! leicester's music scene is redundant and birmingham only occasionally get some decent bands. kind of wish I lived up north or in london...
