это прикольно, редко встретишь человека из-за границы, который интересуется русским языком) достаточно необычное увлечение) мне кажется, что для вас это как для нас китайский) сложный же у нас язык все-таки) а я вот собираюсь учиться на учителя английского)

Part 2! I really like my 19th century lit. Wuthering Heights is a classic, but I prefer Anne Bronte to Emily. I'm also a bit of an Austen geek and I love North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. Otherwise I like authors like Chuck Palahniuk and Albert Camus. I don't get much chance to read at the minute but the last series I finished that the Game of Thrones books and I'm on with a book called Song For Achilles which has been brilliant, though it's taken me months to actually get through it! How about you?

Biggest tip I can give you is to maintain the attitude that you will get through it. I know that sounds a little depressing but it's a mad, busy year and the only way I've kept my head is to think that the work will get done and a bad day is just a bad day, the next will be better. As cliche as it is, start assignments early because there's no time to hang back on them. Do you want to teach primary or secondary? My course includes 18 weeks (I think) in a school teaching and then the remainder spent in Uni. You have 2 assessed placements and in theory you should be teaching 100% of lessons to your class by the end of it (which still sounds horrifying to me!). Aside from time spent in school I guess all the Uni's will work differently on the assignments you do but if you enter at a Level 7 Masters you will have to do a research project within school and a write up after. I did my degree in Journalism so bit of a change for me but I took a few years out after Uni.

I'm doing a PGCE at the minute so things are pretty hectic! I'm enjoying it though. I wish I'd done English Lit at Uni, I think I'd have really enjoyed it. Lincoln's a pretty quiet place but I really like it down here, glad I came back again (I did my degree down here and then moved back for the PGCE). We're still waiting for this whole 'Spring' thing to arrive though!

Yeah I'm a fair few hours from London and far too skint to ever travel down there. I had a quick listen to that song - not bad. Not my usual thing but far from bad. I think I do technically live in the Midlands these days as I'm down in Lincoln but either way it's generally cold and dreary! I'm back at Uni so I'm being kept pretty busy these days - no festivaling for me this year. In fact, there hasn't been any of that for a few years now. I don't know why but festivals just don't really appeal to me too much anymore apart from a few of the smaller ones but lack of funds prevents me from going to any.

Back in the day I was a huge THP fan. I think I still have my original t-shirt floating around somewhere, although it's seen better days! I wish I could get down to London to see them play again but it never happens! I'm certain I've got some questionable scrobbles knocking around on my list. I just try not to look and that way convince myself it never happened.

It's okay, but I am kind of disappointed in the drumming. It used to be so energetic.

Yes, it's quite deep, in fact, I had to read the poem with the notes I took in class so I could understand it correctly. Here it's my teacher's webpage, you can find the poets from different periods, some essays and notes of them, if you want to take a look. http://americanpoetry.usal.es/ I haven't written poetry (neither in my mother tongue, Spanish) since I find it quite difficult. I've only written essays and prose, which I find very entertaining and easier. I guess the best way to write poetry is reading quite a lot :)

thanks! I had to study cummings in Modern American poetry in my University and I fell in love with his poetry. I also like Ezra Pound, Robert Frost, Hilda Doolittle... but more than anything, T.S.Eliot and his "The wasteland"!! have you read it? it's a masterpiece.

ASoS also has...a lot of action/disturbances. ;) Probably the most out of all of the books. My ACoK has 969 pages; ASoS has 1,128; AFfS 978; (bigger in height, width, and font) ADwD has 959. Lent out AGoT to a friend, but I think it is the shortest. I will not say anything about Joffrey. Yes, Cabin in the Woods was awesome. Jarring ending, but I liked it overall. Hahaha, relevant to the show. I am thinking of the beach scene(s), the fog/rain/obstacles, and the trips to the other districts...especially 8, if that was the one Rue was from.

Book three (A Storm of Swords) will take up seasons 3 and 4. Yeah, Mockingjay will be the ultimate climax, but I am still excited for all of the island scenes (and they'll come sooner!). Astor and Cody...really? I'm not sure which is worse: having them almost disappear completely (considering he married their mother) or that. Wow. So glad the show didn't keep that plot line. I might skim through Darkly then. The rest of the books sound shoddy. Is it LaGuerta? For some reason I think I came across that spoiler, lol.

Lindsay does worse at capturing the dissonance than the show? You'd think writing it out...there should be more potential. Then again, we get inner monologues on the show. Yeah, making the dark passenger supernatural would kill it for me too. =( That's why the show is so fascinating. What he's doing is taboo, but he is trying to confine it and reduce the harm, almost making it productive. That supernatural element would cheapen his struggle for me. Would you still recommend Darkly Dreaming, or would it be a waste of time?

If you did read the ASOIAF books...you'd at least be "prepared" for future events (taking all of my self-control to RESIST SPOILING). The TV show hasn't been entirely faithful to the books either, but most of the changes have been reasonable. I like both quite a bit. I think you should at least read the first two before the third season (but I say this because I like history the books cover that the show can't feasibly include). and yes, THE HUNGER GAMES! The quell is going to be crazy. I can just see the Facebook statuses now...hahaha.

Hahahaha, oh, the twincest... I don't want to wait for seasons 5/6/7 (however many they do from AFfC and ADWD) of AGoT. And, of course, 3 and 4. ;) I got through the ASOIAF books earlier this summer for the first time, and I get tempted to spoil many things to my friends who only watch the show. No, I was one of those people that felt stupid for not putting the pieces together on my own. And it felt kinda ridiculous that they did it that way. Have you read any of the Dexter books? I heard the first one is good, and that Deb figures it all out much earlier, and the rest are eh/eh. Don't want to have any expectations about how the Deb/Dex stuff will play out though. I have a feeling I'll be disappointed. I doubt that she'll remain attracted to him romantically/sexually now, though. Hope not, ha.

NOOOOO WASH ;_; aaaaaahhh! (silly question) Are you looking forward to season 7 of Dexter? I didn't really like five and six, but I am excited for the Dex/Deb confrontation!
