If you want to get into Baroness, I'd start with the Blue Record. It's more complex than the Red Album, as well as being more melodic and accessible. Actually, their whole discography gets a lot heavier as you go back. Their three EP's (First, Second, and Third) are incredibly heavy, but less refined. tl;dr start with Blue Record

I liked the song Hallways that was online just before the release, but it seemed to lack a bit of the spark in songs like Swans (Life After Death) and Rough Gem. The early days of Islands were amazing. I should have more scrobbles of them than I do. I guess it's time to have an Islands listening marathon. :)

yeah, lemon jelly do some great stuff though its puzzling how they aren't majorly well known. Personally, i prefer lemonjelly.ky because 80% of the songs have the nostalgia factor, but everything they do is awesome :D

well they've basically only got three albums, lemonjelly.ky is a compilation of all of their best e.ps and i would listen to that first. Seriously, beats every single downtempo albums i can think of HANDS DOWN. If you liked that album then hooray, you get to listen to lost horizons followed by '64-'95. Sadly, they've been on haitus since about 2005 but one of the guys has just started doing solo stuff. Happy listening and give me some feedback buddy
