So how's James Blake?

yeah it's really different, he has really weird song structure. i thought it was weird and didn't like the first few listens. saw a post on /mu/ that summed up exactly what i felt: "the first few listens it just sounds weird. then the next day the melodies will start to creep in your head and won't leave, making you itch to hear them again." i relistened to it today with the headphones and it's almost night and day. like morning and late evening.

you can only truly appreciate it with headphones with actual bass (aka not ipod ones) or speakers with subwoofers (aka not macbook), it sounds incredible with these new headphones i ordered, but you can still get a good feel for it

I'd say, by far, their best album is Brother, Sister. Not as post-hardcore as their previous efforts and not as folksy as their newest album, it's at a very interesting spot creatively and it has some downright brilliant songs on it.
