Hey, just wanted to ask if you have ever heard the 'special remix' of Jane Siberry's "The Life Is the Red Wagon"? I'm thinking of buying the "Summer in the Yukon" compilation which is supposed to have it (Allmusic says so), and it's cheaper than the "Red Wagon" CD single. I'm a completist but unsure whether it's worth the purchase (the rest of [url=http://www.allmusic.com/album/summer-in-the-yukon-mw0000892599]the tracklist[/url] is not very impressive).

i love that you relay the title of "we didn't know" including 'feat. stevie wonder'. i'm a bit tired and drunk and i almost wrote stevie nicks. now there's a thought. anyway, i'm a big fan of her really sappy ballads like "didn't we almost have it all", "miracle", "you're still my man", "until you come back", "i look to you", "why does it hurt so bad", "i have nothing", and "hold me" (even though diana ross' version 'in your arms' preceded it by three years and is better).

I don't even like ABBA very much really, which must make me a pretty bad Eurogay. I'll listen to their songs on the radio and I love them for helping Hung Up come into this world but I really have little interest in them! Eurovision is great for songs that can be thrown in all over the place. I used to add "... taken by a stranger!" to the end of so many sentences last year. I also made 'Taken By A Stranger (The Holidayer Remix)' which warned of the perils of people you meet on holiday.

Eurovision has created some of my favourite songs ever! I do watch it for the spectacle of it all really but I'd hate to not have stuff like Shady Lady, Be My Valentine! (Anti-Crisis Girl) - best song title EVER, Dum Tek Tek, Popular, Taken By A Stranger etc etc in my life! Also, it allowed Abba to exist which in turn allowed Hung Up to exist!

It is fantastic and I await all future avatars. NO PRESSURE. And yes, classier Eurovision sounds about right for Shy'm. She should embrace her inner trash for a while! I'm all excited for Eurovision this year now. Are you a Eurovision fan then?

And yes, Prendre L'air is probably her best song along with Femme De Couleur. It's so Eurovision, like a lot of the album!

Haha, I'm blushing. I can only hope to be as consistently fun as you someday! I felt bad for ditching the polar bears but you have to move with the times to stay relevant and I'm taking your abandoning of your polar bear/Heidi wars av as evidence that I am in fact, a trendsetter. Which popstar this makes me I do not know. I would say Shy'm's best songs are 'Prendre L'air', 'Je Sais', 'Femme de Couleur' and maybe 'Tout Va Bien' so they should all be good starting points!

Oh no worries I love having PJers on here haha! Shy'm is indeed great (and is rapidly becoming the queen of bizarre "arty" outifts!). I've not yet heard Reflets but Prendre L'air and Mes Fantaisies are both good. The former is dancey while the latter is more RnB. Reflets is in between I think! I don't know if you want song recommendations?! Haha.
