yo yo what's the latest?? i had a little Story So Far sesh recently too. i made a playlist with all their albums back to back. some pretty peak listening // new Erra album production was incredible, top tier stuff, but overall thought it was aight, i'm not super crazy about them. but gore of being is an all-timer sick song. i wish they had like, bigger choruses, and more memorable moments like in that song. have you heard Dreamwake? man they are so sick. one of the sickest bands ive heard in years. they kind of do the things for me that Erra won't lol // anyways cheers man

Skin samples are back, I have mycobacteria kansasii and I'm on five different antibiotics for at least probably a year 😊✌️ Apparently this is more rare and harder to treat than leprosy. Very cool.

you know those commercials for medications on TV that say "serious infection may occur?" well I'm that guy and spent over a month in the hospital again with cellulitis and . Auto-immune diseases are no joke and these medications are sometimes more dangerous than the condition itself due to how susceptible they make you to various things. The skin samples they took from my arm are gonna take potentially weeks to show what exactly is going on but the fact that I keep getting these kinds of serious infections is the worrisome part. Anyways I'm okay for now. We'll see what happens. Thanks everyone. I had no wifi etc while I was in there.

Agorapocalypse is their most "musical" and accessible album with the most catchy and longer tracks I'd say. I like that one the most for that reason. Altered States of America is more of an "experience" that's best listened to all the way through from start to finish. Bestial Machinery compilation has their entire first self titled in there which is insanely ahead of its time. All of their stuff is pretty good and they have Arc which was kind of a sludge metal EP that a lot of people really like but I'm just...indifferent on I guess. Merry Chrystmeth and Home Invasion are underrated tracks by them. Let me know what you think.

Yeah, that's kind of their least musical album and more just a clusterfuck of noise experimentation but I think it's neat. They're like a 2-3 man project and use a drum machine but I agree hahaha. Do you have any recommendations for me?

That makes sense because some of those beats were inhuman. The only thing I've really been digging in that vein lately is Antischism, but you might already dig them since they're pretty untrackable, lol. I recently got into Foxing on the recommendation of a homie because we're about to see them - The Medic is their big record and it's like melodic la dispute, but they swerved on people and did an indie pop record called Draw Down The Moon that is fun.

That's okay man, I like all kinds of music haha. I don't listen to a lot of just pure aggressive metal and offshoot genres as much as I used to and I'm down to try anything. Oh yeah, Foxing are pretty neat and I haven't listened to them in a while, thank you for the reminder. :D I shall give those a try soon ❤ If you haven't listened to much of the band Anxious I'd give them a try. I like their two LPs a lot.

np! and yeah, I used to be heavily into the scene. the og industrial acts had similarities to the punk rock scene of the 70s and 80s in how subversive a lot of it is, criticizing political and economic infrastructures. what really appeals to me is the sly and sarcastic nature of a lot of them, sometimes including sexual elements. aesthetically, I also like the jaggedness and mechanicality (is that a word?), which is pretty unique in electronic music. post-industrial is subtler and more focused on intricate production. many would consider pi to be a genre entirely divorced from the roots of the scene, and is a lot more popular today. for me, I'm a huge fan of both, but for very different reasons. og industrial was incredibly eye-opening for me. in artists like Coil, their discography evolved from pure industrial to more post-industrial. this evolution is so important to me, from a meta and visceral perspective, as it shows natural progression.

for king theta - Entitled, Overgrown Dream Graveyard, Getting Over It, The Fog, Shadow, Debt of My Youth. As far as other artists, I'd recommend 93FEEOTOFSMOKE and songs like i see everything, bending to grow, silver linings, landing sketchy now, hardlonglook, stuck in the middle.

93 has done like a million styles of music so I didn't know where to start but his discography is MASSIVE and if you go through it much at all I'm sure you'll find a ton of things you'll like. If you enjoy him also check out fats'e, they collab a lot and have been irl friends for years haha. I looked at like 10 artists from your top most played and did listen to him hahaha I quite liked his stuff tbh, that's a super good rec. 💖
