There was sushi, but on one occasion, I chose to eat Italian. XD Yes, the vending machines were amazing! What do you want to eat there?

I spent so much on clothes, lol. We stayed there for about two weeks and yes, we did go to Akihabara. We had a lot of freedom - we had these unlimited rail passes for the duration of our stay and we were given heaps of free time. I spent all my money (about $1500) in those two weeks. o: I ate a few onigiri but I don't recall eating sushi there, haha.

The Olympiad? Not that I know of, haha. In Japan, I went (along with 47 others) to Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Kobe. I shopped sooo much. Shibuya is an absolutely mindblowing place, along with Harajuku. We stayed at a ryokan (traditional Japanese lodging?) in Kyoto. I could've sworn it was haunted. ._.

How can he not be in your school? =__= I asked to go on the trip even though I was learning French, haha. From first impressions, I'd say that you'd qualify for the Olympiad. :D Japan is seriously awesome. ._.

10+ people from my school are going to yours. THAT SUCKS. Anyway, I just went to the blog of one of your Last.fm friends (who I assume goes to JR) and that guy is one hell of a nerd! .__. So, uh... The French class almost didn't get passed through, but I did some heavy negotiation and now we've got a French Continuers class, heh. I'm doing fairly all right in it, so I decided not to go with Japanese beginners. ;(

Thank you - it took a while to do it, haha. I've been learning French for four years and I'll be learning it for two more years because I'm doing it for my HSC. And I still don't listen to any French music, haha. I tried to teach myself Japanese for a while, but I decided it would be best if I just focus on French for my HSC. >_> I'll learn Japanese after I graduate from high school though! :D
