All their albums are pure insanity. My 2nd best is Hell is empty and all the devils are here (2008). I think it might be my top album from this year with the new Katatonia coming in at number 2. Did you see the new Enslaved video? It's just shots of water!!! Absolutely nothing else. Pretty disappointed. Looks more like a screensaver than a music video.

Listening again. Still not so sure about some of the cleans, I think I prefer when they are more sparsely used. There are some really awesome clean lines though, like in Death in the eyes of dawn and Veilburner. Yeah, it does feel quite long. All in all I think it's a pretty good album though. Check out the new Anaal Nathrakh album. It's headsmashingly heavy and really awesome.
