just saw your comment in regards to DJ shadow -- checked out the track and I can totally hear the resemblance! no samples though, my mind wouldve been totally blown if DJ shadow was listening to my music hahah. hey man!! so awesome to hear from you--brightened my day when I read your comment while on vacation a month or so ago. as for new music, i haven't really been making any for quite some time: a decent man took a back burner while i worked on two band projects which i'll post below, and since I quit both bands earlier this year I've been taking some time off from the music world. Honestly I do think I kinda miss it, so perhaps I'll be getting to work on new music before too long! Thanks a ton for listening over the years and giving me some confidence : ). I'll let him know what you said about the EP (he is already working towards releasing one) since he has a lot of other tracks i really really love on soundcloud. thank you for the recommendations as well, they're very different even though they are similar to some of the genres i listen to.

I sang with foxing on their last tour to vancouver! They asked me to sing the whole song "the medic" after i sent them a cover i did of it. glad you like them, they are really outstanding. Also, halfsad is my partner's music so i thought maybe you knew him.

Well I know what you mean it sucks to get kicked every second day just because you want to listen to something popular, I just played two seasons and was at a point where I wanted to leave the group but after they searched for a new group admin, I took the chance, so I can't be kicked anymore :D. Jungle and drum'n'bass are fun. I think Stones Throw are releasing/going to release some stuff that you might be interested in, like Knxwledge or Mndsgn. From the mainstream rap I have only checked Iggy Azalea but I have deleted that album after 48h... If I had more time and more space on the hard drive I would check new Dilated Peoples, PRhyme, new Wu... and probably Joey Bada$$ and Kendrick Lamar, cause I have not heard much from them yet. Man, you should really get some instant messaging app.

Ant samples Gary Wright - 'Time Machine' (it's like in the middle of the song) on 'In Her Music Box' and I'm not sure but it sounds like that other song by Al'tarba might actually be sampling Ant's revamped version of it. But that is just a guess because I'm not entirely sure. :)
