Are you familiar with The Rural Alberta Advantage? They sing about Edmonton on their debut. "Then again / Under the lights at the Leg / We will burn out eyes / Seeking out these purple nights" From what I understand: "The Legislature in Edmonton is lit up at night with yellow floodlights, and if you walk up and stare into them for awhile everything will look all purple-y when you look away." Sounds beautiful.

Well, hehe...I am kinda driving 6 hours to see this festival, and this one girl...any excuse for a road trip right? Whereabouts in Canada are you? I'm wanting to move there when I finish college.

Haha, that's cool; Explosions In The Sky was the only reason I watched the Friday Night Lights movie and it has since got me into the TV show...and the sport, just a little. And maybe my entire group of friends. And maybe we just had a 'proper' game yesterday...Heh. On the subject of that 'Not In Love' track, I just discovered it last night, and Holy.Shit. It's fucking fantastic. I listened to it on repeat for like 4 hours before trying to sleep...didn't exactly mellow me out =D I'm going to see Crystal Castles in January actually, they're playing at a festival over here; I haven't listened to them much before last night but I'm definitely going to try to get into them now.
