you're pretty old for a platypus

Taylor Swift? Oh no you didn't! I see Scootie McLennan is having a bit too much of an influence on you :)

So when we first became friends, our musical compatibility was "Very Low". Now it appears to be "High". Congrats.

oh and Ataris hahaha. good times

slow club are gorgeous. 'When I go' is a really sweet tune

hi

yay nsync. and Los Campesinos! - i dig their new album... we are dooooooomed

i haven't seen anything in ages. it's a shame but I've been tres busy with workies. I've just started listening to Alphabeat!!!! pop bliss there. haha.

Don't worry, I won't tell anyone ;)

how was st jeromes?

yeh, I can only imagine what it would've been like - a new year's festival like pyramid rock doesn't really suit the largely unknown indie stylings of Stars. I was talking to an ex-student and he was saying the entire crowd were off the faces - or munted as he said. I'm on holidays for another 9 days - it's been awesoma!!! I'm not really looking forward to going back to work but it should be fine. I'm teaching 2 english classes this semester which will be a bit more difficult as usually I only have the one but the Yr 10 course looks pretty fun. The lady-friend is fine - I've actually moved in with her and we're looking to buy a house - very adult of me. I'll be on the other side of the state on Monday - more's the shame. What's news with you anyway?

it was pretty ace. I think I preferred the east brunswick show - the levels felt a bit muddy. but check this jive - they also played the pyramid rock festival and walked off the stage half way through the set cos yobbos were throwing beer bottles at them - so in 10 yrs they have only walked off stage twice and both times were in Melbsy - crazy huh. When are you coming to melbsy again?

it's not my fault he is amazing. haha

Also, listening to Stars albums seems to have bumped our musical compatibility from Very Low to Very High. Lolz.

Check the recently played, chooch!

yarp

hey. Stars are playing at the corner. Figures, we just purchased tix to the brizzy show and plane tickets. Apparently we can get credit for the plane tickets but if you could let us know if anyone is after a couple of tickets for the brisbane show that would be rad. yup

yeh, my favourite songs are 'the bitch went nuts' and 'Cologne'

have you got the new ben folds album. it sounds angry dood. poor chicken.

hey, how was the cutie thing? Sorry I couldn't see you - I'm basically working 7 days a week

hey there, i'm quite dandy thanks. how are you? what do you think of girl talk? he blows my mind, it's such a guilty pleasure

You successfully used "abhor" in a sentence. Colour me impressed.

gosh, it is tres exciting. what shows are you seeing?

so what's the plan? I have rehearsals on the sunday and I'm also picking up my scooter on the saturday.

this weekend?

i'll do my very best - which is not so good.

dooby dooby doooo

the thingos are blue. hey check out drhorrible.com - it's awesoma.

yeh but all you need to do is click on see more - i just like the blue and stuff.

do you like the new look last.fm? i do methinks

aw i don't think i will be going i'm afraid - how lame I am. i'll def hang with you whilst you're in melbs though

like you muscial choices. got any suggestions for me??

i feel super compatibility is easily within our grasp. lets make it happen.

how cool is the word turnip? that's not rhetorical - i really want to know.

radical - sounds good to me.

nah, you've been misinformed foals are actually amazing. not really anything like bloc party, much more like a mix between battles and klaxons. matt corby? you teeny bopper haha.

yeh well i've been telling my friend for ages that i'd come visit her. so i should one day.

perhaps adelaide. but not for a little bit. whose going to be at weekend of splendour? I am a silly and know not much things

ah rad. i've been considering it of late. we;ll see how we go.

yeh i've been spending a lot less time online full stop really. planning any trips to melbourne town in the future?

well maybe they did update but for me - the chart was exactly the same. weird. how are you today?

what's with the charts not changing over. hmmmmm, not fair. and i spent a couple of days with my scrobbler turned off accidentally - what ever will i do?

i sort of listenned to it lots more cos i was trying to work out if i liked it rather than because i liked it. but yes it has grown on me! and i'm enjoying it plenty :)

i like them a lot - los campesinos! that is

Los Campesinos! are they any good? their titles look pretty good. i should be working. bah.

so have you listenned to the tough alliance yet? you know me + jens could never be wrong. check 'something special' and 'silly crimes', they'll make you smile. garaunteeeeeed.

the words freakin' sweet come to mind.

haha, ugh i'm tired. bed soon. soooo strokes hey?

haha, the haircut is alright thanks. better than the crazy crazy mess it was before. but i'm sure shari will give you a better review

i dunno man, the only time ive ever forked out that much for a gig was for justin timberlake. and he was obv worth it. i mean sure they did a killer soundtrack for virgin suicides, but they didnt bring sexy back.
