In his diaries Kafka repeatedly stated that he had no interest besides literature, but if he cared about the Viennese painters and drawers a bit more, he would have admired Schiele's works, don't you think?

  oh he would, definitely. actually, he was very interested not only in literature, but in modern jewish theatre as well. and when the first permanent cinema appeared in Prague, he, again, was among the crowds. Schiele and Kafka have a lot in common in their aesthetics, i think
