Yes I did have a great holiday season, thank you! :-) Same here, I've been very behind on things but I'm beginning to get caught up now. I was recently trying to discover more female Latvian pop artists that I may like and I came across a female Lithuanian pop artist instead that you may like named [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFSImuj2HRs/]Erika[/url]. I haven't ever got into any Lithuanian pop artists before but I don't think I'm going to like Erika's music enough myself. The song you recommended by Rose Eleanor Dougall was not to my liking in particular but her music reminded me a bit of [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyBNdgzuHVk/]The Organ[/url]. My new computer that I just bought has been giving me a load of problems! It's so slow running right now that it takes 10 minutes to just type and leave a comment here. I plan on buying another new computer that I'm sure will be much faster this time..and I just got myself an Ipod for all of my favorite artists.

Woman in me also features Meja as well, I forgot to mention..(more on the amazing Meja later on..) so anyway the kind of pop artists I seek usually have above average production where every track sounds kind of different from each other, clever written lyrics that effectively showcase their personality well, excellent vocals..especially for singing those higher notes well, a fun cartoonish nature, a dreamy atmosphere to their music and cool synths used that sometimes might sound like a melody to a video game. I don't like pop artists who curse in their music, repeat the same type of lyrics and melodies over and over again or who are too sexual with their music. Any of those dislikes mentioned are usually a good indication for me that that pop artist isn't for me. So I'm looking for female pop artists with major talent who have a unique personality and graceful passion for what they do in their music. Hope this info helps! :-) (once again, too more new posts below..)

Already checked out Jenifer Paige before too and didn't like her but went ahead anyway and heard a few samples from one of her albums and still didn't care for what I heard. Thanks for sharing though. Jenifer Paige is a related artist to Meja but just because a lot of Meja's listeners also listen to Jenifer Paige's music. (not because there music sounds at all similar.) I know that I have very strict likes for female pop artists so it may be difficult to find a pop artist that I'd like but I'll try to explain what I'm after. (and what I don't like in general)..oh and you're welcome about the Legacy of sound track. I love that song too! I don't really know much about Billie Piper's acting career either..but I did watch the first two episodes of Dr. Who and some episodes from some adult cable network show and both shows were kind of generic and lame. Her acting was okay but not great. I as well very much wish that Billie did another album after her amazing second one but unfortunately she started to dislike being in the pop music industry for various reasons (which I can't blame her for) after releasing her second album so she dropped out suddenly. Now listening to "The power" album which has the song "Shine" on it. Yep still feel the same way. She has a nice voice but her music doesn't really do anything for me. Absolutely everybody sounds a bit like Legacy of sound's "[url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXB13W1v0Zw/]Happy[/url]" featuring my second favorite artist [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tm4nY7I_rXg/]Meja[/url]. Santa Claus lane is definitely one of my seasonal favorites to play! :-) (even when it's not around Christmas time) So much fun! Love the album cover too! :-) I think Hilary got out of the music scene just at the right time because her last single was nothing like her previous good album material to say the least. Her last album Dignity was pretty good, though a departure from her rock pop sound. Another pop artist that dropped off the map from her music career and way too early that had SO much talent and an incredible voice was [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkRf7gDVT54/]Billie Piper[/url]. I wish she would have continued to make music instead of become an actress..I think Billie is way better at being a pop artist than a actress. Save yourself the time on Vanessa and the O's because just as you suspected that one track I sent you is pretty much their only good song..I mean the only one that sounds like a fun cool upbeat dance track..the rest of their music is quite different so that single is misleading. After hearing that one cool track I got all pumped up and excited thinking that the rest of their music was going to be a smash but instead I was treated to uninspired indie rock with a dreamy atmosphere to it...I don't like it when indie bands do that. :-/

Oh you've been sick, sorry to hear. I hope you feel better soon! I see you recently been listening to a few tracks off of Hilary Duff's Christmas album "Santa Claus Lane". That is a great Christmas pop album! I enjoy every track on it! :-) Some fans don't like to refer to SCL as Hilary's first album but I do. Saint Etienne also has a collection of Christmas tunes on "A glimpse of stocking" and that's also excellent. It sure is that time of year again..everyone getting ready for Christmas and playing Christmas music, right after Thanksgivings passed. Got me thinking why isn't there any music made for Thanksgiving? :-)

Here's a band I checked out recently that I ended up not liking except for this one great song (and music video) called [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNAtXMBQUiI/]L'air Entre Nous[/url] by Vanessa and the 0's. Someone said that they were on Saint Etienne's record label "Heavenly records" but I'm not sure if that's true. Anyway I thought you might like it. :-) Gotta say I love female lead blonde singers with quirky personas..which this seemed to be at first but on a closer analyze the female vox turned out to not be my type of artist.

Hey I heard some samples of your music under your name Sam Eddington and it sounded like innocent, experimental rock with poppy leanings. You have sort of an original sound to your music, good job! True, it takes some time to learn about someone's music taste for what's best suited to share with them..I'm glad so far that with every artist that I shared with you, you liked. :-) That kind of artist sharing success ratio has never happened before with anyone else! Las Ketchup have a nice sound! Though the music is a bit limited for my requirements. I like the production but not so much the girls voices. Reminds me a bit of Matt Bianco. Yeah that song really does show off Olga's amazing voice well! Really happy that you liked that song! And the K3 tune. I love K3! I have only three of their albums and have several more to get still..looking forward to that! I checked out Lena and had to turn off her music after only five seconds..really didn't like her voice. Okay I hate Chalga but I do like Eurodance..artists like [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-Nl8M6v4rQ/]Peach Union[/url]. I have a major dislike though for any kind of generic sounding pop or pop /dance that is too sexual or winy about relationship breakup stuff. I search for pop artists with nice personality and colorfully upbeat produced pop. (I have two more new shouts below..)

I'll definitely hear your music later and let you know what I think! Cool you heard some of Olga Rajecka! The track you heard/favored is a nice track but it's most of the other tracks on "Vakar, Šodien, Rīt" that are my favorites. There's pretty much zero filler on that album. Eastern European dance pop? I never got into any type of pop like that but from the looks of those three artists you named; I got the feeling that that type of music is not my cup of tea. Neither did I like any of those three artists, sorry. Thanks for sharing though! You're one of the most interesting people I've found on this site thus far..and it's cool that you make your own music! :-) I will have to hear some of it sometime. I also make my own music but only MIDI composing. (not actually playing an instrument) Now don't get me wrong, I love Ann Winsborn's Everything I am! :-) That opening track is so good but my favorite track is "Oh boy". That one has a killer groove! Great! I thought you'd like Ladybird! She's Latvian. Incredible voice & talent! Lately I've been really enjoying yet another female pop artist from Latvia..Olga Rajecka. Anyway, here's Ladybird's one successful single that got itself a music video called "[url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxOdsm6uELY/]Dangerous to me[/url]". I really like the video for this cool dance tune! :-)

I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed Sita's cover of "Bizarre love triangle"! It sure is a great cover! Sita has an amazing voice and talent! :-) I've heard the Frente! cover too but to me it doesn't even compare to Sita's one. I'm also quite pleased to hear that you were happy about me knowing who Ann Winsborn is..and that I've found another fan of her music. I think both of Ann Winsborns albums (Everything I am & Pink Collar crime) are quite amazing for disco-pop..especially Pink Collar Crime! Which I thought was a big improvement from Everything I am. Hey, just curious why you haven't accepted my friend request yet? I'd like very much to be music friends with you! :-)

Oh and over 300 plays for Ann Winsborn! Very cool! :-) Another amazing female disco pop artist similar to Ann is "Ladybird". Check out her albums "Nightvision" & "5 moods"!
