aaaand i've heard the new nas actually. I thought it was a little too political and racist actually. Although Nas has always been a little bit of both of those things, it's hard to listen to music that i'm so disconnected from sometimes. He's clearly an incredible writer, each song seems finished and well written, but he's almost too provocative, it feels like he's trying too hard to push buttons, and i'm not loving it.

I obbbbviously have things fall apart and discovery, comeonnnnn, and jill scott heron is so ill, so word up to that. i'm not a huge fan of maxwell, not suuuch a unique sound, but floetry is tight. and i'll look into those other albums too thanks man... and yeah i never checked out that soulja boy thing, so i dont know if thats the right one. i didn't even click the link you sent me for two reasons, 1 i'm not that interested, and 2...yeah i guess 1 is enough, i just dont want to see it really. ok cool.

i need more musaaaaak, hit me with some recommendations? what am i missing. hollerrrrr

I know it's strange that he listens to english music and couldn't understood simple phrases but many people listen this way. If somebody likes that kind of music, it could be the reason to study harder. I didn't understood english music either but I liked it so much, that I've started to chceck new words from songs in dictionaries or ask friends and maybe he's doing the same thing :) Take Care :)

There's something like key words. If you can't understand all the lyrics, you can try to guess by knowing only several parts of the text. American rap isn't only for native Americans or Brittons. There are also sites with translations of song's lyrics. Be nice and try to understand people from other countries... Anyway, let black music connect people, not create differences :) Peace 4 U :)
