ooh :) which album did you go to after white chalk then? i will admit, listening to rid of me the first time wasn't a pleasant experience. but i love it now. the sheer grungeness of it all! and the first three tracks are excellent.. stories came after white chalk for me - was great but didn't impress me as much. then i decided to work through all of them, and when i got to is this desire?, i knew it. she's bloody brilliant! :p thank you, yes, beth gibbons may just be the most beautiful female vocalist i've ever heard. i got the album last year but didn't pay much attention to it, but now - mysteries and spider monkey are amazing, but the rest has a lovely atmosphere too. hmmm....angela, i'd recommend you get four pink floyd albums (although start with the first one i'd say, my fave :D) - meddle, dark side of the moon, wish you were here, and animals. meddle though - just for echoes.

Lol, ya i accidentally left my computer playing music, and it just played every version of National Anthem i had over and over again. But i did listen to the new live National anthem from All points west like 6 times today, along with a few others, so i have been showing some love lately :)
