Aye, Norma Jean and DSHS as support is crazy, should be a top gig. I'm loving the new DSHS album, you heard it yet? Rinoa have announced a tour for November also, good times. I'd love to go to Damnation, but I'll have heavy uni work around that time, and probably won't be able to afford it, as there's so many other gigs around that time. The fest is shaping up nicely too

Yeah Bless The Martyr is my favourite too, but I think all their albums are really good, and underrated within the genre. GY!BE should be incredible, I was so happy when I saw they were playing Glasgow. Fuck knows what they'll actually play, but it'll be special regardless. So many tours happening from now til christmas, I have 20 or so potentially. Student loan is gonna get raped in september, haha.

Aye man, I 'acquired' it earlier on today, it's sounding fucking amazing, possibly their best since 'O'God, The Aftermath'. What you making of it so far? And more good Norma Jean news, they are finally coming back to play the UK. Not their own headline tour, but as the main support to Architects in October. Can't wait to see them again.

Aye DSHS were sweet up here also, bit of a short a set though because there was too many bands on, but still it was good to hear 4 or 5 new songs in the set, that all sounded really good. Can't wait for the album to drop.

Yeah man, I listened to Carpathian 'Isolation' it was sweet. I have their other album to listen to also. I've actually had the AC4 self titled album for a while, but never got round to listening to it yet, shall check that out soon. Looking forward to DSHS now like, espescially hearing some new tunes.

Good stuff, so how was the Biffy/Rolo gig? A lot of confused faces when Rolo were on I imagine haha. I had to miss 65DoS up here, as it was the same night as Narrows. Next time. Is The Boy Will Drown and DSHS really co-headline? I haven't really checked out TBWD, but I was hoping it was a DSHS headline. I haven't listened to Carpathian before, think I'll check them out.

Swell, so what you making of the new Coheed? I'm liking it muchly, looking forward to seeing them in June. The new Bled isn't as good as Pass The Flask, but I doubt they'd ever top that. It's a really good album imo though, well worth checking. So much new shit out just now, Cancer Bats, Minus The Bear, Rolo Tomassi, Deftones, 65DoS etc, good times. I caught Narrows last night, they were excellent, they playing near you bro?

Deftones is probably the best album of this year so far for me, definitely up there with their best works. Dillinger is great too, but yeah, Rinoa is excellent. I'm hoping they tour soon, or at least support DSHS again or something. You heard any of the new Coheed? The new Cancer Bats and Bled albums are swell too, loads of great new shit about.

Aye, those bands are no match for Glassjaw. Would have loved to see them back in the day, but happy to have finally seen them. BTBAM were fucking outstanding last week, only got 40 minutes, but they played 'White Walls' so I was totally cheesing. They need to do a proper tour though. Yeah I'm missing the Machine Head tour also, it's just too expensive. Mastodon this week should be sweet though. Yeah I just started listening to Defeater, good hardcore punk, should be a great gig with Dead Swans. I checked Graf Orlock out the other day also, really good stuff.

Glassjaw were pretty sweet man, few minor quibbles, like them only playing 3 songs off EYEWTKAS, but on the whole the gig was immense. 'Siberian Kiss' was insane. BTBAM on thursday for me, for the half hour or whatever they'll play. Should still be good. Mastodon the week after too, swell. You gonna catch Dead Swans/Defeater?

I can't get into PBC, they just strike me as a rubbish Crime In Stereo, i'd only wanna see Title Fight and I'm not going to Le Pub just to watch one band :(

Sweet, I'll check that site. Graf Orlock are a band I've heard about, but never got round to checking, so will track some down. You heard of Shrinebuilder? It's Scott Kelly from Neurosis and Wino with the drummer from Melvins and bassist from Sleep, mega sludge/stoner supergroup. Their new self titled album is immense. Also if you haven't checked Trap Them I highly recommend them dude.

I would've waited for the pre-order, but hearing folks bang on about how amazing it is broke me down and I had to check it haha. It shall be worth the wait for you man, I think it's incredible. Takes a good few listens to sink in though, as all Converge albums do. Aye it's a bit annoying BTBAM are coming over as support, but it's better than nothing I guess. I'll be mainly going for them, but I do like LOG to. Dillinger coming over in feb to, only the one London date so far which is a bit annoying.
