Ja, ich weiß. Ich trauere immer noch um die About Me Sektion. Ich geb aber die Hoffnung nicht auf, dass sie diese irgendwann wieder vergrößern werden, bzw. auch wieder Bilder und Links darin zulassen. Immerhin hat sich einiges verändert seit dem Launch und es ist immer noch die Beta Version. Somit muss sich noch was verändern/verbessern, würde ich jetzt mal sagen. Ich bin schon zu lange auf Last.fm (nächsten Monat genau 10 Jahre, wtf!) um einfach aufzuhören, alte Gewohnheit.

Du scrobblest ja gar nicht mehr :( dabei is es vor kurzem etwas besser geworden, man kann wieder, statt lästigen überdimensionalgroßen Bandfotos, eine übersichtliche Charts-Liste anzeigen lassen.

Hätte ich mal schon einen Führerschein oder wäre Bahn fahren mal nicht so teuer..oder würde ich mal Leute kennen, die mit dahin wollen... Ich werde auf jeden Fall versuchen, zu einem Ufomammut-Konzert zu gelangen, entweder in Siegen oder Bielefeld(ungefähr gleich weit entfernt). Dir schon mal viel Spaß o.o

So etwas gibt es bei uns auch, nur leider ohne Spitzenbands. Cool, das wusste ich gar nicht. Dachte, da spielen fast nur so Stoner- und Psychedelic-Bands. Dann bleib mal lieber zu Hause :s. Tickets für das Freak Valley gibt es nicht mehr, die letzten wurden im Vortex beim Greenleaf-Konzert verkauft. Ich hab schon eine. Aber kurz vorher gingen die Tickets bei ebay und so meist noch günstig weg, vielleicht wird das ja noch was, wenn du noch keine Karte hast ;). Auf Eyehategod freue ich mich auch riesig. Monkey3 habe ich schon zweimal live gesehen und freue mich wieder drauf, die sind super. CBP habe ich auf einem Burg Herzberg Festival leider nur mit halben Bewusstsein gesehen, aber was ich mitbekommen habe, klang toll :P Darauf freue ich mich auch. Und auf Egypt, deren gleichnamiges Album mag ich gerne. Ich war schon zweimal beim Freak Valley und es hat mir jedes Mal gut gefallen, viele gute Bands für relativ wenig Geld. Das lohnt sich eigentlich immer, finde ich.

Das ist ja praktisch. Da scheinen oft gute Konzerte zu sein, wie ich gesehen habe. Ufomammut würde ich auch gerne mal live sehen. :o Ich wohne in einer kleinen Stadt im Kreis Borken im Münsterland. Hier gibt es musikmäßig nicht wirklich viel. Beim Freak Valley Festival bin ich aber auch mal in Siegen. Gehst du zufällig auch dorthin? ;)

Grindcore *grusel* why do we scrobble? Until we win! Haha, bei mir hats jedenfalls über acht Jahre gedauert. Ich vegetiere derzeit so vor mich hin, bin auf der Suche nach einem Ausgleich zum stressigen Alltag. Vielleicht sollte ich einfach wieder mehr dark ambient hören.

Hey there! Apologies for the late reply. Work has been taking up quite a lot of my time lately, as well as the writing whenever I get a chance. Writing a book would be nice, but I'm such a slow writer that it would take decades. For now I'm just being a nerd and writing anime fanfiction, haha. It's a fun hobby, at least. Glad you're doing well. Interesting about your work now. Are you still doing that? Yeah, that Tool show was pretty great. My only complaint is that the set was rather short...oh, and that they pretty much ignored everything from Undertow, but it was still good. Did you go to those shows you mentioned? If so, how were they? And did you ever listen to Acid Bath more? I absolutely love their sound. It's a bummer that they weren't able to make more than 2 albums. I had writer's block for like 5 months, and then at the end of February I got inspired again and have been at it since then. I hope you're doing well. Thanks about my profile picture! Yours is awesome, too! :) It's starting to feel more like summer here as well. I've been listening to Acid Bath a lot lately, but I'm not sure if it's related to the weather, haha. Glad you've got some good shows to go to. I'm seeing the Pixies in October, but that's about it. I saw Tool back in March, and that was pretty awesome. I wish more awesome metal bands would come here...there's not enough of that. Anyway, it was nice to hear from you again. Cheers! :)

And it's very similar here, but people usually spell it 'Stephanie'. That's what I'm asked if it's short for. I was named after Stevie Nicks, the singer. Funnily enough, her real name is Stephanie. I'm the same about Christmas. Oh well, I've always preferred Halloween anyway. What kind of food did you order at work? Glad to hear he's gone for awhile. I have to go a 50th anniversary party thing today, which I don't really want to do, but I'm being dragged there. Then I work tomorrow, from 11 AM to 3 PM, so I'll probably come home and sleep or something. I've been abnormally busy these last couple weeks. Do you have plans? And thanks for recommending Forest of Shadows! I didn't know them, and I really like what I'm hearing. :D I'll definitely be checking out that whole album.

Hmmm...that's interesting about the contract. I had no idea that they could do that sort of thing. Then again, I'm not exactly knowledgeable about how union contracts work here either, since I'm not part of one. Hopefully he will pay it back eventually; that's just a crappy deal otherwise. Valentine's Day isn't very important to me. It's just more to worry about and more to spend money on. I'm sure it's nice for some people, but you can show people you care about them any other day of the year, haha. I'd probably forget it exists if we didn't have to do a special dinner at work for it. Haha, yeah, now that we're talking about it, I feel like finally checking it out just to see what it's like. Even if I don't like it, one lackluster album out of that many is an achievement. Hey there! I'm off today, so I'm pretty good. I actually have to work a full day tomorrow (11 AM to 7:30 PM). Everyone took the day off for Valentine's Day, so I have to do it, haha. How are you? Glad to hear that your boss and other workmates are cool. :) That always makes things better. My boss always tells me when bands are coming here that I might like to see. The owner of the factory sounds awful. Can't he get in trouble for not paying you the way he should? I'm very impressed by MDB's new album. It's still too soon to know if it's a favorite yet. I don't know if I have one favorite album by them, but I love The Dreadful Hours. The Angel and the Dark River is also amazing. I love almost all of them in their own way, except for 34.788%... Complete, which I have never listened to for some reason. I think because a lot of people didn't like it, but I think I will listen eventually. None of their other albums are less than good, in my opinion. That's impressive itself. :)

Hey! Yeah, I can imagine that the small finger would be brutal. I'm on a pretty old laptop, so I can't play many games on the computer. I also have an Xbox 360 and a PS3, as well as a PS2 and a Wii. Good enough for now, haha. They were unhappy with how the original Viva Emptiness sounded, so they went back and fixed some things, added some keyboard stuff...some songs sound pretty good, but others they could have left alone. I agree about Heritage. Orchid and Morningrise are two of my favorites, too. I love My Dying Bride! :) 10 to 2 sounds like a better shift for sure. I'd like to have that as well. I work from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM usually. It's not very long (and that's why I don't make much money, haha), but it's right in the middle of my day. It's hard to plan things around it. My boss would just laugh if I asked (he's a cool guy). Is your boss nice? Speaking of work, it's time for me to get ready to go. Have a good night! :)

I've played a few of the Guitar Hero games, too. Very fun. I've only played on easy so far, haha. I don't know how good I'll be on the higher difficulties...I'll probably quit too. Do you usually play a lot of games on your computer? Viva Emptiness is incredible. Have you heard the new version? I felt like the album didn't really need improvement, but I really enjoy hearing "Inside the City of Glass" with lyrics. I do feel lucky that I was at least able to see them once. I just wish it wouldn't have been Opeth's Heritage tour. Great show, but no growls anywhere. I know I really missed out there. I wish the US wasn't so big...it gets expensive to travel to where shows are. That's nice of you to say, but I work in the food service department at a retirement home. Not very honorable. It's still pretty nice, to get to know them and hear their stories. Your job sounds quite important/interesting! I hope you're having a good week and that the late shift isn't giving you too much trouble. :)

Ach ich hab mich nur zu sehr über eine Person geärgert ... völlig unnötig, aber was solls, ich sollt das einfach vergessen :) ansonsten kann ich mich derzeit über nichts beklagen, ich bin faule Studentin und hab zwei Wochen Semesterferien. Allerdings hätt ich so einiges zu erledigen, aber ich schieb immer alles schön bis zur Deadline auf und dann bricht der große Stress aus haha. Ja CDs sind gut, aber Platten haben doch etwas besonderes an sich. Ich mags wenns bissl knistert, obwohl das ja eigentlich ein Strörfaktor ist ;) Ich habs jetzt endlich geschafft, mir Summoning mal anzuhören. Die sind ja wirklich richtig gut und sie sind aus Wien, das macht sie noch sympatischer :D Wenn ich mir die Videos auf Youtube anschaue, bekomm ich richtig Fernweh. Ich liebe Berge und Wälder, war erst im September auf einer mehrtägigen Moorexkursion in den Alpen. So wunderschön, wär am liebsten dort geblieben ;) Meer und Strand hingegen kann ich net so viel abgewinnen, sieht doch überall gleich aus haha.

I haven't actually played Skyrim myself yet. I've watched other people play it. I'm planning to start it sometime soon. I love how the game looks. I've been playing a lot of Rock Band 3 lately, haha. I got it for Christmas. And there are shows here, they're just usually in Seattle. I don't drive, so it's hard to go over there. It's about 4.5 or 5 hours away. We've had a few good shows here recently, but no good metal ones. Most of my favorite bands don't come over here too often, if at all. Katatonia & Opeth were here in 2011. That was really surprising. I'd kill to be able to see Katatonia again. They're my favorite band. :) And yeah, small villages and rural areas tend to be different than cities as far as that goes. I work with elderly people. Most of them are pretty nice. I don't make much money, but the job doesn't make me miserable, at least. The worst part is when they pass away. How about you?

I just went to look at pictures of Siegen, and it does look very nice there. :) It's nice to know that people are more tolerant there. I didn't know that about people in Bavaria. Sounds kind of like many places here in the US. Washington State has a reputation for being open-minded/tolerant, but there are some places that aren't so much. I see all kinds of political/religious propaganda around here. I think it's because we're so close to Idaho. I'd never live there. I dream about living in lots of places in Europe, haha. I've never been anywhere over there, but lots of things fascinate me, including the nature in certain places. And the awesome metal festivals/concerts! But you're right about learning the languages. I'd love to, but I don't have enough time to devote to it. I would like to learn at least one other, though, eventually. I can be pretty lazy as well. Right now it's 3:15 PM. I think we've got quite a time difference. 8 or 9 hours, I think, if I remember correctly.

Wäre aber viel zu schade, wenn ich mir ein neues Profil anlegen würde, da sich in den letzten 8 Jahren ganz schön viel Musik angesammelt hat, die ich so gehört hab. Haha! Well, beer is definitely more fun than prune juice. But those damned side effects...oh well. I'll use the money I'll get eventually from getting the "World's Oldest Person" record to visit. ;) (Really, though, I'm only 113 mentally. I don't think that counts.) That does sound like a beautiful place, where you live. I'd probably like that. I miss living in my old apartment, which was surrounded by trees. But I don't miss the town/state at all. And thank you, both for the compliment and the friend request! I currently live in Washington (State), close to the Idaho border. There's not too much going on here, compared to the other side of the state where Seattle is. I moved here from Ohio a few years ago (which had the apartment with the trees)...I like it here more. I'm somebody who doesn't like to stay in one place forever, though, so I'm always dreaming of living somewhere else, haha. I think it's because I moved a lot as a child. Anyway...where in Germany do you live?
