all those colourful Iron Maiden album covers on your last week's top gives me good childhood memories.

still, I found the discussions which have taken place on last.fm far more interesting than any other on the internet, which might be the reason I've been using it for five years non stop until I decided to abandon it. back in the day, I visited my last.fm profile way more than my fb or youtube one. for some eldritch reason the adoption of a differentiated layout made feel like logging on, even though there might be pretty much nothing great to do/read on the site anymore.

yeah, I kind of feel that way as well. back some three or four years ago, people who I met here used the site quite a lot. this beta design makes it even more unfunny to browse here.

oh and btw, I completely agree with your rant. That's what a love about the album - pure cathartic angst.

Maybe it's because you were pretty active on the shoutboxes and the groups (r.i.p) that I remembered you. Don't really use this site anymore, just decided to come back lately because, you know, nostalgia and shit.

Nice. Asian languages are fucking hard. I've been learning Chinese for a year now. What kind of cardio? I do cross country and I'm planning to do some triathlons soon. But my goal this summer is to somehow get some serious muscle mass while still running and biking or swimming daily.

Yeah, you do make a great point. I feel like if I lived in the middle ages, for example, I'd probably long for a world like ours now. In a way, anachronism is a part of my current personality. Will it change? Maybe, but I still can't help but to think that I'd feel I bit more at ease if I was a knight in King Arthur's court, or at that, a deep space explorer landing on Saturn for the first time. Which is, I can only imagine, why I'm so interested in sci-fi and fantasy comics and movies.

I mean it's an interesting question, and I thank you for asking it. I just feel like the word describes me pretty well. Not necessarily in every way, or all of the various definitions, but I do feel like the 21st century is lost in me.

Uh check out Animal Collective - Fall Be Kind. I'm not a huge AnCo fan but that EP is really good, and it's nice and dreamy. Numina - Solace is some sweet space ambient. Also Sevara Nazarkhan - Yol Bolsin is really relaxing, it's Uzbek folk (which sounds really arabic) with some electronics added here and there. And if you're looking for some god-tier Psych Rock, check out The Brian Jonestown Massacre - Revelation.

Same, I try to find something I like in every genre. I've been on a huge Arabic music kick recently. Looks like you've been listening to Japanese stuff? Anything good I should check out from there? I was really into J-rock a year or two ago but I haven't listened to it in a while. The only others I really know are Melt-Banana and Envy
