Omfg!!! That bird sounds amazing!:) How old is it? I tried to teach our kitten to listen to metal today but I'm not sure did it work actually.:P At least it's very interested in computers!:D And it's name is Manu. In fact the name comes from a finnish children's book called Miina and Manu. And 'cause our previous cat was Miina this one has to be Manu. Althought it's a girl.:D But I think it acts like a boy.:P My dad has also two dogs but it's easier to keep them there where he lives (in finnish country side). Dogs can run free without any neighbours complaining about that.:) Even though if I'm honest they sometimes run away and then come back after a day or two... But no one is still complaining!:) I'd like to have some pet of my own too but my flat is too small and I don't really have time to any pet.:/

Yeah great it was when I gave up and just started to jump all around like everybody else!:D But I don't know if my feet and shoes have ever been dirtier than after that show!;) And I have to say that it really feels kind of empty now when the world cup is over! And nostalgic indeed!:) Even though now I'm quite busy 'cause we got a new kitten yday!:) It's just adorable. Do u have any pets?

Hah! I made it! I just saw the last moments of that match!:) Even though I was bit afraid during that Flogging Molly concert that I'm maybe not alive anymore after that gig!XD The audience went totally crazy! All those big guys rolling over me and pushing me farther from the stage.:O Luckily fans of Sonata are not so insane and drunk.:P And I managed to film that moment when Tony was yodeling again!:) And then - in the middle of the concert - a big cruise ship floated by and Tony asked everybody to greet it!:) How was ur weekend? Were u football-addicted friends satisfied with the result of that match?;) I know I was!:D

Oh, what a relief!;) I just have a huge problem now when Spain made it to the final! 'cause that match is pretty much at the same time when I'm watching Sonata at Ruisrock! The match starts at the same time when Sonata should be ending their show.:/ But maybe if I'm REALLY quick I might be able see the most of that match! Anyway, good to hear that you're supporting the same team with me!:)

:D Sounds good! Finnish people are not so passionate. Or at least not so often!:) Maybe more when it comes to ice hockey!;) I've attended a few ice hockey matches but like ages ago.:) But I've never been watching football! Mainly because our national team plays all their matches in Helsinki. And our national league is not very fascinating.;) I played floorball myself 4 years and those matches I've been watching sometimes. And that's at least a sport which we are good at!:) But about football. I think too that it could be a bit boring to be at the stadium that 90min when u can't even see those players properly!;D Btw, I know u haven't followed those World Cup matches but do u have an opinion about who should win now when there's only 4 teams left? (Hint: if your answer is Germany, lie to me!;)

Well I have never consider South Korea such a lousy team. So I don't think it was so bad to lose that match. But I guess my opinion doesn't mean anything in this case.:) And I remember very well that Euro Cup final 2004! Particularly 'cause I was hoping Portugal to win! But it was that time. If Greece and Portugal played now I would be probably cheering for Greece 'cause I can't stand C. Ronaldo and 'cause of him I don't really like Portugal either.:) And Finland's place in FIFA ranking is maybe 52nd. I think we have never been even in Euro Cup 'cause we're always messing up those qualifying matches!:/ Btw, what sports are popular there in Greece? I think one of the reasons why Finland doesn't succeed in football is that it's not so popular sport in here. I mean, ice hockey is a whole different thing!:)

Oh, good for u then!:) Even though I think it's a bit weird that time is passing quickly 'cause it always seem to take forever when you're waiting for something! But maybe that's just me.:) I'm not patient enough. Greece got humiliated? Well, Finland is not even playing there so I think Greece is at least better than Finland!;) In fact I'm not the football type even myself but I like these World Cup matches! So I watch football only every fourth year!:) And now I really hope that Spain will win! Even though it's maybe not so likely but anyway.

Well I certainly hope that it will be a remarkable and awesome event!:) And epic as well.;) Unfortunately there can't be full moon and that starlit sky 'cause these damn summer evenings and nights are so bright here in Finland! Thank god that so called nightless night (a night when sun doesn't set at all!) was last week (or week before that, I can't even remember correctly) and now the nights are getting longer all the time.:) Not that I really hate that phenomenon but it's a bit too much when there's no real night at all!:D So how's it going otherwise? Have u been studying? Watching football maybe?;)

Haha! Well I'm attending Ruisrock only on Sunday so I'm not gonna see all those great artists.:) And even on Sunday I'm not gonna see all my favs because they're playing at the same time! Just different stages. Am I cursed or something!:P But I'm not going to run from one stage to other all the time. Actually I think I'm going to stand right in front of the stage called Rantalava (Beach stage in english) all the time because Flogging Molly and Sonata are playing there!:)

Well, when it comes to anatomy, I guess the most challenging thing is to learn those Latin terms for bones and organs!;) Have you now made any decisions about getting that ticket for Sonispere? That would really be awesome. That’s again a festival which is here in Finland of course the same time when I should be working! But well, I shouldn’t be complaining because last weekend I just saw Leverage, Poisonblack and Sonata Arctica.:) Did you know that Tony knows how to yodel! I was pretty amazed!:D I hope I manage to get some other gigs also this summer. My sister was so envious when I called here when I was listening Sonata and let her listen the gig awhile.:) Then there’s also my birthday coming and I’ve used to spend that with my friends in our summer cottage. Not a big plan but it hasn’t failed me ever.;)

Yep, I think I’ve already studied too much in my life. I mean, first 9 years in elementary school, then 3 years in high school and after that 4 years in university. It’s 16 f*cking years and I can’t even see the end!:D I think I had already studied my best years. At least if I think about my motivation to all this! I can be pretty interested in the stuff they’re teaching to me but I’m just too tired to studying it.;) But the best part is that I still get quite good grades even though I hardly read at all for those exams! Just get 4 from the exam of anatomy! (Scale is from 1 to 5.) But no, thank god, there’s no exams anymore until next month. (Yeah, I’m studying also in summer.) Hope that you passed your exams! Of course there's always those second chances but it's just nicer if you pass them at your first try.:) Btw, do you have any plans for the summer?

Yeah, I know what u mean. Of course it's nice that bands try to develop their style but sometimes it just go so wrong. I don't wanna diss Elias as a guitarist at all but I just liked Jani more when he was playing in Sonata. Pity that he had to mess up his personal life so that he had to stop playing in Sonata.:( My Selene (which is Jani's song) is one of my favourite tracks by Sonata. OMG! You didn't eat anything that day! Quite respectable way to mourn.:) But after all it really feels bad when u have to skip some great show! Those big artists don't drop in that often anyway. And I just watched youtube and saw that Norther's video Mirror of Madness! Just brilliant! Really love it.:) And no, you don't write too much. At least not comparing to me!:D Sometimes even those 1000 characters which you can use in one shout are not enough!;) So I have to split my text in two messages.:)

Yeah, and I think Norther has however their own style. They're not copying CoB so much after all. CoB doesn't really have any clean vocals but Norther does. And I think they have pretty different style in lyrics also. I mean, while Alexi is singing "I don't give a flying fuck motherfucker", Petri sings something like "If you go, I don't know what to do".:D:D That's funny how those live shows affect people.:) I don't usually listen the band I'm going to see almost at all before the show but after that. It's like listening them 24/7.;) And about Amorphis. They actually won an award of the best metal album of the year last year here! And I must agree that their new album Skyforger really is a damn good album! They beat also Sonata Arcticas new album (Days of Grays) in that category.:)

Yeah, they really remind me too of CoB and I have also read some articles where they've been compared. I just bought their CD today!:) Even though I shouldn't buy albums so often. I've made a treaty with myself which says that I'm allowed to buy only one new cd in a month. And this was already my second one in this month and this month has barely begun! Whooaaa! I didn't expect it to be Amorphis! But thanks!:) Haven't seen that video before. Have u heard their songs Silver Bride or House of sleep? Amazing tracks also!

Thanks. Maybe I'll find it one day.:) But I don't really want my job to be the most important thing in my life anyway. As you said, it's good if you're interested in your job and enjoy it somehow, but it's not the end of the world if the job isn't the one you dreamt of. Except that I've never dreamt of any job!:) That's why people who have always known what they wanna do really piss me off sometimes! Life isn't just fair.:P By the way, have you ever listened Norther? Couldn't find it in your charts but maybe I'm blind.;) I really like them. Songs like Frozen angel, Omen, Saviour and Nothing are amazing.

Haha! Thanks for that. Never heard before that I rock but it sounds pretty good!:DWell, I like to work with people rather than machines or all by myself. And history was interesting when I was in high school. But the university really killed that interest!:D And that's also one reason why I'm focusing on that nursing school. Oh, I remember that time in high school when I should have made some decisions about my future. It was so difficult that when I finally decided to apply to the university our student counselor hugged me.:D She was so relieved.:) But when I think it now. It wasn't maybe the best decision I've made. Maybe I should have thought about it a year or two and then apply to some school. Now I feel sometimes that I've just wasted my time in the university even though I don't wanna regret anything I've done. But an accountant doesn't sound that bad to me. Of course I've never been an accountant so I can't say what it's practically.:) But u have still time to think about it!:)

Well I have been studying history at the university 4 years now. When I started it I thought that I would be a teacher one day. But after these years I've been having second thoughts about it.:) And last year I studied also nursing! But to be honest. I'm still not sure about what I really wanna do with this life! Right now I focus on that nursing school anyway.:) Are you at high school or some vocational school? I don't really know anything about Greek school system!:) But good luck anyway with those exams!

I agree with you totally. I think an artist who really enjoys playing and gives a 110% every time he/she's on stage is way better than some of those really famous stars who seems to do it just for money or something. That's why I like so much some bands even though they're not so famous. They're at least doing it from the heart. And I can guess why Greece's song in the Eurovision contest got such a high place... It was all about the male dancers! Of course they got so much points because most of the people who are watching that contest (at least in Finland) are women!:D And thanks for that Firewind suggestion! After all I'm a quite big fan of power metal.:) And they were good! I have to listen them more after I get all these school projects done.

I really hope that you'll become a famous keyboard player so that I can tell all my friends that I've "known" you some time already.:D;) One of my schoolmates is actually singing in a band called For Selena and Sin. They play some kind of melodic metal/rock. But they're not very famous. Even though they're not bad! But not so outstanding either. Unfortunately.:/ And I'm glad that u liked Entwine.:) I used to listen them very much some years ago and now I discovered them again!:) Their gig was pretty good too! Maybe they didn't sound as good as in albums but their presence was so good that it didn't matter.:) Do you have any good rock or metal bands there in Greece? I think I have never listened any Greek artists. Besides some who has been in the Eurovision contests!:D I don't even like that contest but so many people here watch it so that it's almost impossible to avoid it totally.:)

You're right. Ecliptica is great. And I think Silence is an awesome album too! There's also good songs on the latest albums (like Paid in full & Flag in the Ground) but they're just not as good as the first albums. And yeah, I'm quite happy that I live in Finland when it comes to music and live shows.:) I'm going to see Sonata Arctica after two weeks and I'm pretty excited about it! But why you are so sure that they won't ever come to Greece? After all they're touring so much abroad that sometimes it's quite hard to see them live here in Finland.:) And same goes with Children of Bodom. I think they have only one live show in Finland next summer and of course I'm going to be at work that time!

Yep, maybe I'll try the youtube. But if it doesn't work I turn to you!:) I've listened them on myspace but there's just samples not full tracks. And I believe I will like them a lot!:) Sonata Arctica's earlier albums when Jani were still playing are awesome. And Timo has a great voice. They have played a few acoustic gigs together lately and I've managed to see them twice. They played mostly covers and some songs from Stratovarius and Kotipelto himself. But no Cain's Offering. But maybe the songs of Cain's Offering don't work acoustic. Great gigs anyway!:)
