Well, older TM was too cartoonish as you know...but me too like brutal bloodly style, but in Black its all look so terrible & shitty. Nope, they write their own songs, and they have a collaboration with a singer or two on each album, Corey from Slipknot, Christina from Lacuna Coil, Til from Rammstein, Adam from Three Days Grace. But I don't care for many of the singers they collaborate with, their own stuff is great though. Well I haven't been here that much becuase my PC died. But I still use a shitty laptop and it' s so fucking bad that it doesn't have enough space to have a couple of mp3s... Ghost Reveries is good but you can hear in the music a sad undertone of the band failing to be who they are, and becoming somthing they should have never been. they lost somthing after damnation.

i LOVE damnation. and every album before it and hate every album after it. Opeth was my fav band untill they sold out to roadrunner records. after they signed to the new label the music changed and you could hear the lack of passion in the band. 2 band members quit because they sold out and did not like the new style. i feel the Damnation album was thier final album as a great band.
