yeah, i live in glasgow and we don't see much of 'em either. we did have ONSIND and eric ayotte passing through a few months ago and i travelled down to durham to see spoonboy and good luck a while back but i'm stoked on catching them all in one place. i'll let you know for sure!

It isn't random upon first inspection, because my top ten most played artists are mostly riot grrl bands (from Bikini Kill Radio). But after the Top Ten, it does jump from genre to genre. One day, it will be Sebadoh Radio, and the next Nirvana Radio, etc...

i saw your post for laura stevenson and the cans and bomb the music industry. for a while she was a keyboardist from them. i agree, they are nothing alike but i guess i lot bomb the music industry fans have also listened to her band

Hadn't seen it before but I love that picture! It'll make great ink if you can find someone you'd trust to do it. I'm making a sleeve on my left arm with highly disjointed bits of things that make me me. It's taken two years to get 1/3rd done as I keep running out of ideas. I was given a suggestion which I'll use to finish it off once all the images are in place. There's plenty of good artists down here in London ... costs a fair bit though.

The entire Wild Flag album is stunning. I can't wait to see them later this year! Re: the Foos. Did your brother work with the crew in some capacity? That band has one of the best reps, when interacting with fans and the people who work for them.

that's almost impossible for me to answer. I could narrow it down to about the best five, but I don't think I could ever pick one above all the others. The very last NIN show at the Wiltern is definitely up there.

Added to my reading list ... I'm going to need to spend longer in the bath at weekends. I do most of my reading either there or in my local pub. There're fewer distractions in the bath though. Spent yesterday at the London Tattoo convention. What an amazing day, I could live that lifestyle if I had the skill! Everyone is so friendly at these places.

yep, i'm in LA. thus, the high amount of shows on my calender. And yes, the twins are VERY entertaining in concert. Their back and forth banter is just a special part of their appeal. :)

I've always avoided the russian stuff, it's something I should read but there's too many books and too much work and never enough time. Currently reading Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood, and it's a real page turner. I like you ... you're interesting people :D
